Truly Unfortunate
My computer was going under repairs.
That is why I was not here, and away.
But, soon I will have a lot to say!
I am busy today, but soon I will submit some of the works I have completed in my absence. Thank you all for reading my poetry! Let me know and I will read yours if you wish.

Tattered Park Bench
Inspired by the hope
Left on a tattered park bench
The will and strength to cope
With what life will throw at you

On a sad and dreary day
I walked until my feet were sore
We all just need a say
and I just felt so silent.

Until I stumbled to that seat
beneath the tall oak tree
to rest my tired feet.
Where I looked down and read
Carved into the old wood
"Hang in there stranger, friend"
Right then I knew I should.

We are never truly alone.
Based on true events.

Writing Desk
Sitting at my writing desk
Pen in hand, it gleams.
What will I start writing next?
Could be anything, it seems.
I just truly love to write.

Thank you all.
What A truly nice community
If I say so myself.
You have all been so nice to me!
A gift greater than wealth.
Seeing as how I can only post poetry! I thought I would write a short poem of how wonderful this site has been in my short time here and how truly inspirational some poems have been! Please let me know if you would like me to see your poems and please see mine.

A Sea Shell's Lesson.
A tiger belongs in the jungle
a bear belongs in the woods

I belong with my books
and a basket of baked goods

A cat belongs by my side
A dog belongs there as well

I walk along the beaches
And see a pink sea shell

Taking it home, I listen
it makes the sounds of the ocean
even though it is here in this room
it was taken from its home, true
but its home is inside it too.

Truly we can all learn a lesson from even a tiny sea shell?

True Peace Of Mind
Walking through my house I saw many things around me
velvet curtains swaying as fresh air entered into the equation
I took a deep breath and enjoyed my solitude
Truly life is good when you can listen to the quiet
as if it were a sweet song
Truly I knew peace
in the realization that with or without my things
I could always enjoy that quiet stillness of solitude
and the sweet scent of the fresh air bursting through my window,
Caressing me as if it was part of the silence and comforting my very being.
I hope this does count as a poem, it seems a little off to me! though I truly did try my best.

The Truth Of The Matter.
We are all people
perfect strangers
or truly good friends

We all die
true we are all born
but we all do have ends

Truly a sad truth
so why do we not make
truly good strangers
into...

perfect friends?
I wrote this one a few weeks ago and decided to share it here, I truly hope you like it.

Truly Inspirational
Poems are the work
Poems are the play
Truly inspirational indeed

A poem is what everyone needs
If I do say so myself.

Poems have no quirks
Poems just have says
Truly inspirational

They truly make my day.
I was truly inspired to write this as my first work, since we are all here for poetry.
