I know what I know
Many do not believe that I know
They trust, I know...
What I actually do not know.

I believe.....
    I know me too well
I suppose I should be knowing
I am a specialist of high caliber
Hence I know what I should be knowing

Many believe....
    They know me too well!!
    I should be knowing...
    Nay, feigning innocence / ignorance
How come, I may not know??
Real agony of establishing what we are and what we are perceived to be

Lying in my rocking boat, sleep peacefully, my Lord!
I see the stormy waves bashing on my worn out boat
Pretend  I will, as if storm is only out there, my Lord!
Hoping that you still work, when you are fast asleep.

Dare not I perturb your peaceful sleep, my Lord!
Lest should I be reprimanded for the lack of faith.
Drifted endlessly out into the seas away from assured shores
Hoping that you wake up, before it is too late…!!!
Jesus sleeping on a rocking boat....I am a co-traveler...

Lucky I am, as no one walked before me.
But I had to go, so what I walked became the path!
When I walked for the first time, it was not easy,
The course was coarse and the team was unwilling,
Challenges were many both physical and psychological
Milestones were few, if someone not traveled, would never know!
I pushed ahead, one stretch a time,
Learning the terrain and conquering simultaneously!

We had to walk on it, through it many a times
We created a lot more milestones and stopovers
Others also came, put on signage's,
Thought aloud, how this path could have been better!
Some even asked, 'Where does this path lead to?'
There were many onlookers, travelers, part-time travelers
Many such people were wondering,
'Why are we walking on this path?'

Few team mates wanted to settle down along the path,
One or two launched out on the mission to walk their path!
Travelers poured in and so do the administrators,
Experts came in broadened it, added platforms,
Beautified it, levied tax and even named the path!
Criticisms were plenty from the first step that I took,
But I know people will follow this path!
People after people, ages after ages, will follow this path!
Milestones left behind, never to come back to reckon or cherish...they only exist in the memory of the labored and creator....

Thanks for the little falls
Thanks for the falls  I only can notice
Thanks for the falls I notice in me
Thanks for the little falls

Some falls are great, everyone knows
Some falls never leave the dent it carved
Some falls are so dark, the wayback is shut
Some falls are so grave, you never realise

Thanks for the falls that only the beloved sees
Thanks for the falls when someone helps
Thanks for the falls which grounds me
Thanks for the falls which makes me look up

I grow at every fall...nay...almost every
I fell from the womb; I fell down at my first step
I fell while ridding a cycle; I fell in most of the games played
I fell in all that I excel

I fell into loving arms of comrades
I fell into caring hearts of the love
I fell into mercy of many strangers
I fell into life's miseries and abundance

Is it a caution for a bigger fall?
Is it customary augment for greater glory?
Divided between mystical optimism and pragmatic realism
How many times  more do I need to fall?
