Each day I think it will finally happen.
Expectations lead to disappointments.

I met her
Standing there
It was midnight
The moon shone bright
Giving light to her angelic eyes
Her smile so heart-warming
It nearly made me cry
I stared and wondered
If she could be the one
As she stood there like an angel in sight
Soon I confessed my affection for her
Sadly I believe I was a little too late
Later it turned into love I could not control
As she sat there with her partner sharing a kiss
Time passed by
And I barely stood by
Convinced that she'll never be mine
And then out of the blue she's single again
Tears flowed out of my eyes
As I impatiently tried again

Is what I came back home with at the end of the day
My hopes went down the drain
So did my living force
But my love unaffected
Until with time and her absence brought me back on my feet
And then I hear she is leaving
Somewhere far far away
Probably never to return
I crave to hear a goodbye...

So much for promises and goodbyes

My fortress of sweet solitude
Absent from reality
To insinuate myself into a dream
To make up for the comfort I am deprived of
The blank darkness equally pleasant
Just to attain this moment of positivity

When I lay here on my bed

I long a longing

That makes my days feel endlessly long
Lonely walking along the lonely long road
The longing hits me

Crashing into my long history
Created through the longing for you
Oh for how long will this longing go on?
It's a long shot to what I long for
So why do I even long for this lonely long longing?
