he was dumb and shallow and weak

you are a different kind of weak

it’s ok love
no hard feelings
the sky is a limitless black ink
of which I am a dutiful and worshipping subject
If I could float up to the sky,
Be with the moon and stars up high,
And hide from common earthly sight,
Never seen by day or night,
I would surely find a way,
To take you up with me to stay,
To spend our days and nights above,
With joy, laughter, happiness and love.
Mental Health is crying out for help.
Young, Old, and in between
Not our original intention but Poetry and other creative arts help
Read your reviews if you don't concur
Let us start the healing because others need poetry
It helps many including this poet
A great gift that keeps giving in ways unimaginable

This in mind could help HEPO get funding .
News story on HEPO could help but not my call.
take care to never
confuse magic and
illusions in your mind...

you only call it
a lowly 'illusion'
when someone else
is fooling you

but it's always
ever been 'magic'
when you're the one
robbing yourself blind.
'tis weird right? like we can grow into the disillusionment from smokes and mirrors but still call it magic as if a mystical lexical escapism from the bittersweet fact that it's also called trickery.

nonetheless, thanks for reading^
We don’t see the carrots to be cut,
We see the sharp knife that could cut us.

We don’t see the bridge,
We see the other side of the railings.

We don’t see painkillers,
We see medication we could drown ourselves in.

We don’t see the train,
We see the tracks we could lay on.

We don’t see the nice view,
We see the cliff's edge we could jump off.
Some of us only walk at night,
Right from the day we saw the light,
We grew up in a puzzling maze,
And blundered around in a haze,
This through no fault of our own,
The rightful seeds were never sown,
With luck we'll find the exit door,
Before we fall flat on the floor.
The older I grow the faster time flies
Wish my calender was telling me lies
I could try to stop earth from spinning around
But it is impossible to slow it down
We are the poor.
We have no wealth.
Don't ask about our mental health
In fact walk past us.
Don't ask why
Just do not look us in the eye
Especially if you knew us before
When we wore socks and brushed our teeth
And hadn't given up and sank beneath
The awful maelstrom in our brain
Of fear, pain and damning shame.

We are the shadow people
But I see you,
And I know that you have shadows too.
