We oscillate in time,
in this tormented game we play
our minds begin to sublime;
we oscillate in time,
our hearts beating in prime,
as you leave, I stay -
we oscillate in time
in this tormented game we play.
High above the sky,
he wondered what he’d find.

For every star above,
There’d be another treasure cove.

He knew he couldn’t fly,
But that didn’t mean he couldn’t try.

To reach the unreachable,
He sought out the impossible.

And with his heart burning with desire,
He set out with a soul on fire.

He thrived where others merely survived,
And never ceased to leave them mystified.

But even with the will of a thousand kings,
He could not take wing.

In the end, even though he had failed,
He died with a smile on his face.

For even though he couldn’t fly,
Atleast he had tried..
First poem I've ever written. It's one I like alot.
Feedback is appreciated, thank you for reading it. :)
You
I'm caged in
By these thoughts of you
So many things
I wish I could do

But you, you're holding me back

You're so young
So ******* immature
Seems like my life
Is passing in a blur

'Cause you, you're holding me back

I'm leaving now
Throwing away my key
This is the last
You'll ever see of me

Now you, you won't be holding me back

Don't say goodbye
I'm not listening to you
'Cause you and me
We're done and through

You cry and plead
And you're driving me mad
I can't even think
Of all the good times we had

See, this is why
I'm leaving you
So get a grip
You always knew

That you, you were holding me back
The love and life and the living are seen;
colors exist to interpret our dreams.
They flow with no control;
a story and a dark hole.
These mysteries we want to shatter;
but, in truth, we are beat and battered.
The energy that gives shall never die,
and so will not our sacred minds.
We lose because we must gain,
an eternity of humble hexane.
Fear not, for when physicality is gone,
our colors will certainly live on.
Here we lie,
but our energy shall never die.
Alone. Always alone.
Feeding on the souls of the fallen.
Watching the weak crumble, like paper.
The hearts of the unloved are black and bleeding.
And the shadows of all that is dark, awakens.
Fragil, hopeless, innocent, and broken.
We are all alike, but not one of us can compare
to the desperate creature, the insidious stranger,
killing all which is pure and luring us into the arms
of a fatal sickness, such a deadly parasite.
On a sheer peak of joy we meet;
Below us hums the abyss;
Death either way allures our feet
If we take one step amiss.

One moment let us drink the blue
Transcendent air together—
Then down where the same old work’s to do
In the same dull daily weather.

We may not wait . . . yet look below!
How part? On this keen ridge
But one may pass. They call you—go!
My life shall be your bridg.
Pumping Red Blood beneath paper skin
Flowing without
and Flowing within
breathing life, into
craving eyes
listening to,
all our cries

I cannot separate
From the faltering pain
the pleasure that comes
again and again….
like Waves receding
upon the beach
when something lies
just beneath my reach

i’m talking of the feeling,
i cannot describe
i’m talking of the look
in all our eyes

it’s the feeling that leaves us
cold and alone
hiding behind
these faces of stone
the feeling that something,
just isn’t right
it’s the feeling that leaves us,
up at night,
swallowing serenity
behind closed eyes
In this solace,
we try to hide

but never will and never can,
For this feeling,
is the mark of man

it’s the great power that makes us raise cities
Its in everyman who wallows in pity

It scorches tender hearts with fire
I’m talking,
Of
This feeling,
Desire.
Desire Austin Yde drive
Pro-******,

absolute identity.

Absentminded,

******, insanity.

Black on white,

white on black.

Coffee stained *****,

my lips are far from pure.

I’ve come to see my morals have change,

and I would not want it any other way.
She said "how do you have the audacity?!"
I felt her words, tearing, blasting me
words cut like shards of glass to me
as if desert sands beating on my weathered skin
I feel her composure wearing thin
water droplets become the tell tale sign in her eyes swelling
hands violently flapping in the air in tune with the yelling
her motions far too compelling
bringing troubled thoughts to my eager mind
eyes search to find my way out
no neon arrows point to my escape route
I must bear the brunt
of what I had done
never expected her to try and tear down the sky above
When I finally, after so many years expressed to her my love...
