Innocent songbird
Keep singing sweet sorrows
Keep whistling lullabies
The cage they're erecting
Can't keep you in
Can't tie you down
O! innocent songbird
They can clip your wings
Trim your claws
But how stupid are they
Thinking you are a pet
A prize for cheap pay
Innocent songbird
They've not yet realized
Everything they are doing
Can't **** your singing
They don't understand
The words of a man
Are much more powerful
Than the laws of the land
Dedicated to Jack Michael Westland, even if you don't see it at least I'll know I wrote it
I'm sorry
Sorry I'm ugly
Sorry I'm too loud
Sorry I am too tall
Sorry I snort when I laugh
Sorry I'm too skinny
Sorry I don't wear that much makeup
Sorry I'm too poor to replace broken shoes
Sorry I'm not everything you wanted me to be
Your silent screams for help,
just whispering pleads
are so deafening
I feel like I'm floating outside of my body.
And I can't get back in
I'm locked out
I don't have a key to myself...
I was the boss.
Emotions kept in check.
Tears shed only in solitude.
Tough as old boots.
No-one could break this ice queen.
Then she looked at me.
This tiny scrap of humanity.
And I crumbled.
Dear Abby,
I'm sorry we lost touch. I'm sorry you were sad. I'm sorry you felt the need to end your life.

I didn't want to know how you did it, because then it would be too real.
I know we weren't in each others lives anymore, but know that you have impacted me all the same. I care and have love for you. You were beautiful and so kind.

I wish you didn't jump. I wish you knew how much you were loved. I'm sorry Abby. I'm sorry. Rest in peace.
My poetry *****

I’m so tired of writing

My fingers are sore

My poetry *****

I’m becoming a bore

Sticking a verse

In front of your face

Oozing with love

All over the place

Creamsicle colors

Metaphors thick

Wasting your time

Making you sick

Finding a title

Spending the time

Just like this poem

Something to rhyme

Or it could be free-verse…

Drifting on metallic clouds in copper spoons

dreaming in patterns of silhouette shadows

and my foot falls asleep

Maybe a Senryu

Read at your own risk

Dumb crap being written here

***** bags needed

Perhaps a Haiku

Softly floats the bird

Atop morning glory skies

**** thing **** on me

Or a Tanka, a Sonnet

A Villanelle or an Assterring

The last one is nothing

I made up the **** thing

So you see I’m no poet

Least not anymore

For what you are seeing

Is what you abhor

And I’m not complaining

Not here on this screen

My pen is on empty

I’m ready to leave

I’m so tired of writing

My fingers are sore

My poetry *****

I’m becoming a bore
hell never looked so heavenly a place,
at 3am
where sleep is nowhere to be found
I can't close my eyes,
without seeing your face
My heart is bound in chains
And you hold the key
My mind is filled with you
Yet empty of love
Sorrow fills myself
I crumble
I cry
You still have all of my heart
You still have all of me
My fate lies with you
My destiny walks with your's
My body is loud and open
Yet my soul is locked away
Pain fills me
I crumble
I cry
You still have all of my heart
You still have all of me
:'( To let it out. Enjoy....
