Marked wet skin
And whose blood lips
Yearned for a caress

Whose sun-streaked hair
And eyes of honey
Kissed the soul
With a touch of heaven

Whose comfort I’ll never feel
Whose pain I’ll never know
Whose wishes I can’t fulfill
Whose scent will fade

Forever and always
I wish we could be
Instead there are ashes
In a valley once green

Ashes I cultivate
With blood and the heart
Poisoning my soul
And tearing apart

Laying in ashes
I see you afar
Whispers in my ear
"Come here, come now"

Love has no place
Where all rots
Abandon hope
And all other thoughts

Old I shall be
Resting in sleep
Touching the dew
But never you

Never will I leave
Resting under leaves
A truth become farce
So foolish I was

I never shall leave
This valley once green
A farce it may be
But my valley is green

Cherry blossoms bloom
Hovering in the air
And here I sit with you

Streaks of yellow on your cheek
Skies of ocean's blue
Here you are with me
While cherry blossoms bloom

A gust of wind dances
Playing with the petals
We are one
And cherry blossoms bloom

Frost advances
And Nature recedes
Unity is lost
And joy gone

One last caress my dear
And look me in the eye
Before cherry blossoms die
And, then, so too will I

You are the epitome and essence of beauty. Aphrodite cannot compare to your endless beauty. She envies you, the goddess of beauty and love. When I gaze into your breathtaking and discerning eyes I find comfort and warmth from life’s daily struggles. Your eyes ensnare me in an endless loop of ethereal happiness. Those eyes-eyes that can light even the darkest of times, paralyze my every thought for eyes like yours I have never come across. And that smile! A smile so bright it radiates with your brilliant and sweet personality. Your gait...it carries with it confidence and the essence of love.
