Small Hands

Small hands with its deep small palm lines
Watching you grow
Inside out
Small hands as in the womb they first folded
Small hopes, small fists
I watched you grew up, you watched me grew

Small hands, layers of fat
Lines perfectly aligned, perfectly etched
When the soul inside felt too big for the body
When the soul inside wanted to break free
When the soul inside wanted to cover the whole world in its palms
Within the small hands,
that's what the soul inside thought

Small hands fine wrinkles
Find solace in moistures
In the midsts of convoluting mist of daily life

You watched me grew up, when did you grew up?
Small hands,
'til you find another ones to hold,
going through every single wrinkle fold...
I'll hold you up

if Trump and Kim can reach an amicable agreement
it will go down in history as quite an achievement
may they temper the past language of dispute
to accomplish a calming that's so resolute

the Korean Peninsula needs men of level head
who'll bring to the region not a threatening dread
these talks they'll be taking part in
are the path toward a positive win

Singapore shall host this most sensitive event
which will determine the issues of crucial extent
with both men being unpredictable in persona
the world anticipates a concordance of corona

you fried some kale
on the grill
in the dark
you said gordon would be proud
you smoked some ***
i watched your eyes blush
as you burnt some
asparagus
you said you didn't love me
then you ate alone
because i left you
because the cat was
killing a mouse, somewhere
and i didn't want to hear it
In the place between sleeping and awake
Over the years I've seen many a picture
form
a face
Though looking back
I've never seen my own image staring back at me
Until now
It was the top of the mast at the breaking of bread
no islands to speak of in the ship
of the dead
and the albatross wondered as he soared up above
where is the one I heard they called love?

but we knew he'd been buried along with his flock and the cross had been chopped into wood for the fires
lost hearts and desires and the violin in the background plays me a tune
at the top of the mast under a cold Autumn moon.

I tried to wrap the ocean
but the ocean unwrapped me.

Almost believed the girl when she said
she missed me
but she's not making an effort to talk to me
and thats okay cause i wouldn't talk to me either
i just wish she wouldn't have said she missed me
it's all i've been thinking about

Looking up at the glow of the sky
As the leaves fall slowly off the trees
Resting on the silent creek.
I imagine I painted the sky.
Wish you could see it.
The stars are waking up soon.
They don't shine the same when you're gone.
How I wish that you,
That you were right here right now.
You'd see the light in the sky
Slowly passing us by.

Diving into the blue of your eyes.
The city line is far from our sight.

Every time that I
Stare up at the stars
I can't help but wonder
If you're out there looking up
At the same stars
Thinking about me.

I remember the first time you brought me out here.
You said “Tonight will change your life.”

Anytime that I
Stare up at the stars
I can't help but wonder
How many stars I saw
That first night
Nestled in your eyes.

Come back to me.
Come back to where were free.
Cranberry woods.

Poems are lovely
simple words painting vivid images
lovely paintings of girlies who
have long since left me
with only words left to express
nothing left to leave my mouth
only write
soon, i will serenade my love to show her
how someone can truly love another human
