I won't speak a word
cause when I do, I'll fall apart
so I'll just hold it in lightly
keep the sorrow deep inside mt heart

I won't show emotions
cause when I do, Who knows what you'll see
I could no longer contain the darkness
that has been hidden away for so long inside of me

i'll hide these feelings away
even if it means I'll have to disappear
cause there is no stopping when I tell you
of all the things in life I've grown to fear

Yet there is a time
when my feelings can no longer be hidden away
if you want to know, you'll just have to
listen closely when the piano starts to play

Seconds tick by,
your end draws nigh.
Are you....are you ready to die?
Have you lived your life in honesty?
Have you been humbled by poverty?
Will you be ready when the shadows come by?
Are you....are you ready to die?
Did you stick to your faith?
In your life did you do anything great?
Are you....are you ready to die?

I see nothing around me
Just a foggy mist
The cobble stones gleam like silver in the moon light
The silence is deafening
Pounding in my ears
Swirling black surrounds my form
The mist dampens my clothes causing them to cling to me
Shivering I look back
I can’t go back
Not an option anymore
I pray god will lead me on my way
I need to find a place to shelter me to let the tears fall freely
I’m close to losing all feeling
Each new step causes the numbness to spread
I feel it infecting my heart
Soon at the edge of my vision I see creatures
They look humanoid, but ghostly and lost
I realize I’m becoming one of them
Their cold hands reach for me beckoning me to join the ranks
Cold fear pierces my heart
fighting I try to pull away and run back
Screams pierce the night sky
Distorted, horrible, their mouths screech
They rip at my clothes with claw like nails
Lacerations mare my arms
I turn and run the way I came
Blindly I run with the wind whipping my hair back
Tripping over the uneven cobblestones I land
A pair or feet are near my head
Looking up into a bright light
I see him
I know him instantly
Smiling kindly he helps me up
Dressing my wounds, he blesses me
“I know you were lost my child, you strayed and refound yourself
Come I'll take you home"
with a sweet smile and a warm hand
i was swept from darkness and was brought home again

How sweet the sound that rings through these desolate halls,
They bring life back to this abandoned manor,
A duet of piano and cello.
They complement each other in a perfected beauty,
Not unlike the rainbow waving its banner in the shadowy darkness of the clouds,
Seeming to show all things have a silver lining.
The tune picks up as the melody reaches its ******,
The harmony follows pursuit,
Weaving a symphony so complicated and smooth,
Like silk the fabric of true beauty,
Each corridor seems to carry its song,
As if to show the world of its magnificence,
Soon the cello slows and fades to oblivion,
Leaving the piano to continue alone.
The piano slow and smoothly sings out a sad solo,
Then too fades leaving the halls silent once more,
Oh sweet the sound of the song once song,
Reminding us all good things must end.

There are worlds beyond our own...
unique and perilous ones.
Some extend past our imaginations
others follow the dreams we harbor within ourselves
there are worlds where a soul is an eternal flame
worlds where darkness is the only truth.
Places of wonder and majesty,
of horror and death.
Worlds where life prevails,
worlds where there is no such thing.
Worlds where nightmares are reality,
and love is far from truth.
There are worlds left unknown,
with places of light unexplored,
and creatures of hate restored.
Worlds where happiness is a gift.
And ones where joy is a sin.
Worlds of creativity.
Worlds of justice.
Worlds of prosperity.
There are worlds that are whole,
and worlds that are lost.
There are some blacker than light,
and others bright as darkness.
There are worlds of chaos.
And worlds of unity.
There are worlds shrouded in emptiness,
while others continue to strive.
Green, beautiful worlds;
cold, soulless worlds.
Worlds of fame,
of fortune,
of corruption
of sorrow.
Some worlds are forever. While others are fated to be destroyed.
Some are powerful;
some are weak.
But they are all one connected together
by one single feeling...
HOPE.

The blood ran warm
staining her pallid skin
long red ribbons in two long lines
a piercing sensation
the pain settles in, setting a hazed fog
the feeling of life slowing trickling away
little lights dance before my eyes
I try to recall what caused the pain
a shadow among shadows
approaching carefully moving unseen
then a scuffle followed by a snuffle
a hand in place to muffle the scream
a white brilliance pierced the dark
not one but two
brick pushed hard into my back
as I stumbled from a push
when my head hit, it sounded a loud crack
a yank of my hair bending my neck
a soft chuckle and a smile so cruel
now I remember a bite
as I open my eyes, I'm alone
was it a dream? my imagination?
no....red stains my shirt
neck burning with a vicious heat
I can barley feel the brush of the breeze
a slight movement catches my eye
dark fabric flashes by
it turned the corner
it was almost easy to miss
a vampire?
NO!
just foolish stories
Just a faint minded wish
I imagined it all
So I choose to believe I tumbled and took a fall

my blood a long silk ribbon tied by dread,
warm, thick and red,
it stains my wrists and hands,
making pretty crimson bands.
silver flashes through the dark,
its edge leaving a deep new mark,
the moonlight catches white pale lines.
memories of an older pained time,
soft casualties of a dark inner war,
the blade promises no more pain.
once a roaring fire of love...now just a flame
quiet sobs fill the still the air
tears falling telling of a life unfair
remorse over her pain
she wishes she was brave enough to cut a vein
she wants nothing more than to leave this place
but a memory of love and sweet face
she drops her blade
tears renewed
she remembers now a warm embrace
love soon flows lighting up her face
a soft smile lifts her lips
one's he had once kissed
