Please be patient,
And most kind,
My trembling hands deceive –
My quivering makes me seem –
Ever so cowardly!

Don’t believe the tremors,
They can’t possibly tell my tale.
But my pen refuses to bleed,
It’s tired of sobbing for me.

And at my door I find,
Emotion most unkind!
It detests me for -
All that I’ve dismissed,
Amassed and stored.

Yet how can I reveal
Words too near, too dear?
Into what fountain would I pour
The love I choose to ignore?

Blank white pages – my beloved.
They’ve become my only escape
From Dire prison cages!
Bittersweet Seventeen,
Ophelia drove me absent of fear,
And chaotically -
Led me to bridges most unclear.

Embittered Eighteen,
She exposed her lethal shrine,
And recklessly –
I sunk in her deathly design.

By and by,
I now exist with one dead eye.
Society mourns bodies
6 feet deep,
But I preserve
My livid tears
For Death
That lives.
Bodies that shift,
Corpses that wheeze,
While their souls
Choke and thrash,
Desperate to breathe.
It is fickle wealth that
The Pauper sobs over,
Screaming with fury
At the fate he can’t alter.

It is superfluous riches
The Prince sighs over,
Raging with hunger
At his rival’s extra acre.

Necks’ sore with constant strain,
By each willful bend and break -
They fail to see the sun’s rays
And the gilded beauty of –
Beauteous Bouquets.
I am the seemingly blind
That leads a sightless mind
Into everlastingness.

Kissing my eyes with deceit,
She bows at my feet
And regards me as –

A muse most Sublime.
Please be patient,
And most kind,
My trembling hands deceive –
My quivering makes me seem –
Ever so cowardly!

Don’t believe the tremors,
They can’t possibly tell my tale.
But my pen refuses to bleed,
It’s tired of sobbing for me.

And at my door I find,
Emotion most unkind!
It detests me for -
All that I’ve dismissed,
Amassed and stored.

Yet how can I reveal
Words too near, too dear?
Into what fountain would I pour
The love I choose to ignore?

Blank white pages – my beloved.
They’ve become my only escape
From Dire prison cages!
Carve out a piece of my wit –
Feed it to those homely dogs,
Rob me of this golden grit –
Hand it to Corpses vacant of tenacity,
Deprive my soul of my fair Melody –
Culpable feet do need aid in discovery,
Drain the rosy hue from my lip –
Pour it into a spirit more desolate,
Employ each fraction of my Essence –
So through Limitless Eyes,
I shall become – Infinite!
