“Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars.”

The earth beneath you is pure,
Dark and mysterious, but wholly untainted.
The small shrub blooming from the soil is callow,
Young and fertile, and growing strong.
The earth teaches us how to behave.
We should be pure and innocent,
Strong and productive.

The heavens above you are shining.
Mighty creator of the stars,
Confident and honorable.
The stars glow as a thousand suns,
Lighting up the darkness and forming patterns.
We should be as stars,
Creation guiding others, helping,
Teaching what is to be learned of the Lord.

Be gracious. Be humble. Be noble.
Be earth. Be stars.

Love, you are
such like a
Diamond:
sparkling
and beautiful.
expensive
and irresistible.
a jewel
like no other.
so valuable.
best of all,
my precious gem,
you're mine.

Voices hum
mellow words
alongside a
crackling flame,
clouded by
the dull gray
fog of dawn.
Peace breezes
between bodies,
caressing them
using the gentlest
of hands, as of
a mother, of nature.

Sometimes it's nice
to let your toes
sink into the mud
beneath you
Watch the dimly
lit sky above you
permeated by clouds
Just like your mind
clouded by deep
thoughts of
Wanderlust.
