Goodbyes
Euphie Dec 2019
Ciao Rome, you were a splendid dream.
Au revoir Paris, you were like an autumn kiss.
Adios Barcelona, your crevices were filled
with the scent of cayenne pepper.
La revedere Bucharest, may your skies be filled with summer love.
Antio sas Athens, your temples are magnificent.

Autumn
Euphie Mar 2019
Those gloomy grey skies
and misty landscapes.

The sound of the wind
whispering in our ears.

The crunch of the leaves,
and the colours of fun.

Those were the days,
that I longed for the most.

If that were true, then you would

To Strain Every Nerve
Euphie Jan 2019
With poets' sinew, the dream I have will be
played like a harp until I wake.

Until the time comes
I hope one day...
the elixir that remains
in my mouth will last
until death comes.

Tony
Euphie Jan 2019
He was a curious lad,
with a broad chest and strong shoulders.
His eyes were a deep brown,
his jaw line sharp and defined.
        He loved action,
        he also loved adventure.
But most of all he loved to run
        his hand along my legs,
making me flush in all his
        favorite places.

Agua Azul
Euphie Jan 2019
One day, I will return
to the place where dreams
come alive, in Agua Azul.

A place where if I had
an anchor of a feeling,
I would be a sailboat
on the beach full
of our burning desires.

Where the silver moon
rises in the evening time.
It will be my reward,
during sleepy hours.

4:45
Euphie Dec 2018
She is lovely in the morning
and in the evening time.

When the skies wake,
and when the skies retire.

At 4:45, she is the loveliest,
when the street lights flicker,
and the pavement we from the rain
shines like silver.

While the street lights grow misty in the fog,
and every soul on earth is still asleep.

Little Ophelia Rose is still lonely,
like the early morning
and late night streets.

Life
Euphie Dec 2018
Life used to flow freely,
it used to be full to the brim.
It slept peacefully flowing through my veins.

But now it is awake,
and a fuming fire is born between us.
By the glance of an eye,
and the touch of lips.

Floccus Magni
Euphie Dec 2018
A lizard's tail,
dew in the night.
Ambrosia from the gods.
A drop of a
mermaid's tear.

This is Floccus Magni.

Shadows of the dead,
harrows of the living.
Joys of the darkness,
terrors of the light.

Let's entangle ourselves in lace.
While you leave trails of swelling bliss.
When all seems lost, it can be found.
I'm crazy because of the dead silence.

Untitled
Euphie Dec 2018
There is a sight of spring in her eyes,
there is a sight of spring in her smile.

Hidden by the veil of nature,
is a touch of her sorrow.
Time is slumbering,
and the world has become mellow.

Sadly, she stands her distance from me,
unsure what love really is.
My heart chose her,
but she has not chosen me.

It is lost and forgotten,
the old memories that
fill my heart.

It is hard to describe the misery that one feels.
I often ask myself the same old question.

"How does one tell the other, they are not in love?"

It is like the two shores of the sea that never meet.
I cannot endure such great loneliness.

We are near, yet we are so far.
This love in separation is unacceptable to me.
It is like there is a wall of glass
that is keeping us apart.

If I am sad and forlorn.
truth behold, she is sad as well.

We meet, yet we do not meet.
The roses bloom but does not bloom.
Strange how love is there is autumn in my heart.
this comes from an old story I wrote of a Roman soldier falling for a Jewish girl, a forbidden love that blossomed into something new.

Without You
Euphie Dec 2018
Without you, my nights are lonely
and tasteless.

Even wishing on the brightest star
my lonely nights aren't passing.

The world around me is fake,
even the sun and moon,
the sand in my eye.

With you in my life,
gold is copper,
and silver is aluminum.

The Upside Down
Euphie Dec 2018
Paper planes, falling
down,
down—
down.

Into the starlight,
that is upside down.

In my heart, it’s beating
one,
two—
three.

The street lights are blinking,
in the upside, down.
My world is red, it's shadows.
Raven black.
The treetops are swaying,
in the upside, down.

Black on red, it’s pattern
tartan plaid.
Who’ll be my lover?
In the upside, down.

As above, so below.
Touch me until my bones
grow cold.

I am a dream so, shut your eyes.
And hold me close—
in the upside, down.

Till the music stops playing,
and the sheet music
is scrolled across my lungs.

As though nothing could fail
in the upside, down.

Green Garden
Euphie Dec 2018
What began as an innocent little bush
turned into a garden that became
untenable.

Weeds began to grow inside me
since you left me alone.
And I've been attempting to pluck
out them out.

What once began as pure innocence,
became stems of weeds wrapped tightly
around my ribs and lungs.

Making it hard for me to breathe,
like a seed, you planted yourself in me...
a **** I could never take out.

Pen
If I had a pen,

On a thin sheet of paper, I would write how the way
Your collarbone curvatures.
I will write about you endlessly.

Until the palms of my hands begin to bleed,
And my entire skeleton will start to ache.
It’ll be a reminder to me that I should have
tried harder to make you stay.

I should have known, that you preferred bitter black coffee
Rather than tea.

Morning Love
Euphie Dec 2018
Today, I woke up this morning wanting to kiss you.
I have a thirst to caress you underneath
white linen sheets.

While entangling our legs together
like threads of a wicker basket.

I want to stare at you, ignoring
the minutes that go by.

I want to trace your image deep into my memories.
In my mind, I want to accentuate
your eyes, your hands, your lips, and kisses.

I’m enchanted by the way
you hold me sweetly.
Your humble soul sends
sweet signals up and down my body,
causing butterflies to flutter in my stomach.

We have different ideas,
however, you are always in my mind.
But my heart enjoys being by your side.
All the goodness in me blossoms
and tingles inside me like Baby’s breath.

Let's **** Caesar and call it a day.
Brutus is laughing and Mark Antony is crying.

Calpurnia cries and Portia rejoices.
The people sing and some weep.

Wow, what a great day it is to be a Roman.
one of the most sarcastic poems I ever wrote. Still makes me laugh.
