The density of absence is far more than that which is absent...

as such, it has it's own gravitational pull

and so we fall toward the center

as if it desires us.

If only you could see you, really see you.
If only you could step outside yourself and witness the person you truly are.
You would see the color in you.
The child in you.
The man in you.
The artist in you.
The musician in you.
The passion in you.
The leader in you.
The sincerity in you.
You would see the lover in you.
The awe in you.
The beauty in you.
The smarts in you.
The care in you.
The spirt in you.
If you could see you,
If you could see you, how I see you,
You would know how the spark of you touch feels with every embrace.
If you could see you,
How I see you,
You would discover a whole new version of fairytale
That begun with “Once Upon an April 19th”,
If you could see you,
How I see you,
You would know how when our eyes meet, I fall right back in love
Like it’s the first time.
If you could see you
You would see the snow in you
And the warmth you

You

You, in all of you
If you could see you,
Really see you
You would see how I see you
You would adore you
The true you
The true you I know
The true you I truly love

Tell the truth about the way we loved.
Savagely
Fervidly
Passionately
Wildy
We burned down the walls of our own bedroom
We gave the stars a show
The shore something to grab hold of...
We were endless
Brilliant in our together
Innovators in our type of beautiful.
We inspired...
Men to love women whose mind's were worth
kneeling for,
And women who loved men with respect worth
submitting to...
Tell them how we loved
Tell them
Their was love
in the  way our feet moved
in relation to the other
The way our eyes danced through
all of these people
Till their was something worth settling on...
For me it was you...
For you it will forever be me...
I will tell them...
because sometimes the things that burn
the brightest tend to leave one breathless...
In a world so self contained...
We could not burn down these walls for our beautiful...

It was a tooth-less
Ache--
That strangled me.

And I'm sure,
Ingesting nettles
Felt numb.

We-let-the-rose
Claw dress me,
For Finer
-Moments.

The clouds watched
Me refuse to surrender
Suffocation.

Maybe indifference bleached
Them colour-blind.

The long quiet slumber
shatters
with the heat
he summons so easily

My master fire starter.

Building me up
and setting ablaze
She
that has waited long,
           so long
to burst forth -

now,
now,
now,

I Wake.
Ethereal minstrel! pilgrim of the sky!
Dost thou despise the earth where cares abound?
Or, while the wings aspire, are heart and eye
Both with thy nest upon the dewy ground?
Thy nest which thou canst drop into at will,
Those quivering wings composed, that music still!

Leave to the nightingale her shady wood;
A privacy of glorious light is thine;
Whence thou dost pour upon the world a flood
Of harmony, with instinct more divine;
Type of the wise who soar, but never roam;
True to the kindred points of Heaven and Home!

I am afraid,
in a way I haven't been before.

I am afraid
of the way people fall out of the sky,

I am afraid
of the way people disappear into the sea

without saying goodbye;
Suddenly the loss
feels like a snake

slithering from across the room;
venom in his blood
and names on his tongue.

I am afraid
of the way people find themselves
at the bottom of the barrel.

And I
am scraping
at the end of it.

I don't expect
my transgressions
to be forgiven.

I do intend
to blanket them
in a new mentality.
