Oceans do not do justice
the depths my feelings reach for you.
Whether in admiration, or hatred.
they penetrate the deep corners of my mind
and linger.
Manipulating my once
rose colored glasses, that have now turned green.
I know that while I sleep tonight
So many of you may die
A heaviness will tuck you in
Like a sheet across the sky
And together you will cower
In every corner you can find
Heart beats right in sync with
The roaring of your mind
Unrelenting punishment
From unrelenting rain
And just when you think it's over
It will return again.
With a wind that rips your soul away
As pure hell invades your sky,
Then hopelessness will take over
As your sons and daughters cry.
How sickening it is to know
That I must sleep here just the same
While you wage a war for life
Against a storm who earned a name.
God please send a peace beyond understanding  and comfort to those in her path tonight.

Book Thief
You hold echoes of a shift
so plaintively
against the swell
of midnight summer rain—
within the roar of the planes
on cold faded glass
the stuffy air at the airport

There was no way around it
that I could see—
the world still kept its spinning

You lock your stare here
and how I wish
I was packed up too,

snug heartbeats in your leather briefcase.

Mothers are the cool shade in life,
Mothers are the only light in darkness,
Mothers are the blossom of spring,
Mothers are the ways of heaven,
Without a mother, would be no us,
Without a mother, we would be lost,
Mother’s are the cool shade in life,
Mother’s are the joy,
Satisfaction,
And peace in life!

I am sewing a dress
with the thread of strength,
And knots of ambitions,
And when it’s ready,
Then will iron it
with the remission,
I am sewing my broken soul!
