How do I put it?
Well...
Your eyes
Emeralds
Crystal clear emeralds shielding utter mystery
Words...words...words
I'm trying to find the words
To compete with your beauty
Bear with me for a while
Delights reflecting the sun rays
Incompetent habits of mine trying to serenade
Everything you've ever planted inside of me
Can't you see?
Oceanic pearls hidden under the sea
Driven wonders of destiny
I'm talking to you
No no,
The magnitude of astrology couldn't put into words
Your dazzling pair of stars glazing elegance
Can't you see?
How you blind me...
As a flock
of sparrows spaced
in flight, low to the
ground...full of air.
A lightness minds
these meager steps
toward them.
Touching down,
and flying away.
So much room to
breathe, the breath
is taken away.
The car lights
echo behind his eyes
as i see the pain he holds
inside himself quietly.
His fists are clenched against
the steering wheel
as if he's afraid that he may
lose control of himself if he loosens up.
His smile spreads across his face
yet all i see is the sadness
that sits inside his bones.
I regret
That I have yet
To barrel down a bannister
Take charge of the floorboard
And command a room,
Silent and full or
Symphonic and fractured
My perceptions
The hungry trees
Of a hungry forest
I do not regret
Having entered,
So I cannot regret
Not having done so.
Some places I imagine
Feel like
Orpheus Looking Back
Feel like
The preference
Of Pleasant Death.
You ask me why
I will not go,
I say
Because,
I Will Not.
You ask me why
I am afraid,
I say
I am a flame
Entombed
Who still feels the wind.
You ask me
What is it most
You fear?
I answer,
The flowers
In my head
Not sick,
But dead.
listening to the tune of the breeze
she sings to me through needles and leaves
nature's song can be seen in the trees
when they sway with me to her beat of ease
