A hot spring
In the midst of Brooklyn
She walked in
An empty basin
Porcelain!
Suddenly rained
The water moving
Rage!
No wind to sail
No sun glare
Raveling black fiber
Ravened the rain
Stabbing through
Skin!
Awakened millions
Thirsty pores
Two hands walk
Ten fingers
Doing push ups
From head to toes
Bubbly bubbles
A bouquet of cloud
Smells of utopia
Rinsing off!
The curtain opens
Crinkles
A middle aged woman
Leaped out
A naked trickling rain
It rained!..
now I can mold the earth..
My very own hands!
Roof of the sky leaks
A plumber looks for a tissue
In the duskiest summer
Was it coherent-
That eve of calm irrationality which casually sculpted a world into a pendulum-
Irregular as nature
Fickle as a heart
And it was then
When her hours sifted dry-
When beads of sweat collected down the brim of her nose-
When the air thickened-
When her bones grew short
And the flickering of an eye spoke more profoundly than her words

The eve which
the human character crafted
  proclaimed the loudest

She accepted
the crayon
and drew
a transparency
to step across
the mirror.

Living on
horizons
long forgotten,
she sprang from fire,
her love affair,
a tale of fairy.

The baobabs grew,
feeding on her,
shredded the glass.
A darker night
devoured the moon,
diluted her crayon.

Then came the day after.
She rose
and drew a crayon.
She accepted lucidity
feeding on transparency.
She took a step.

I wish words
could carry me in
and someone
could sense
the swirl
in the afternoon breeze
and gently
pick me
in a butterfly net
and map my colors
and have my contour
as a sextant for life.

YOU
One too less,
into two I pour,
three and we divide,

Up goes walls,
Providing insides.
What within resides..

An 'I' seeing you.
But can you see through
The illusion of divide like I do?
connect!

Hi, my name is 'TheWord'

and

I am unreliable and messy!
A symbol!
A figment of projected meaning!
A run-around!
A silhouette!

And how I have fallen in love with myself.
scribble scrabble
Wall
I see an indentation
I fill you
My empty hours
Room grew pale
Like white ash
Folding eyelids
Fell into abyss
Nocturnal space evolved
Scattered like silvery dots
Between my ego
Remain seated
With pride
And a glinting ceiling
Watchful like moon

Wall
You gravitate slowly
Toward center
Like a sulkiest universe
Sprouting!
You lean over my shoulder
I shrug you off
Tilts against my back
I turned over
Merged those dots
I wish to blend
It disappeared!
All colors in me
Vanished ...
As it cleared away
Everything was wasted
Left deep marks
On yours
My eyes opened
I wailed!
Silence stared at me
She was there
Pounding
Cold
In black.....

Here take my seat
Instead.
(Summer 2014)

In the room where a fan waves at me
Screaming!
The night comes in tired and sweaty
Nothing but a dull moment
Dressed naked and inconsolable
And walking all over me
Grinning

If I could only measure
The thickness of time
Like dust rising every minute
From one's own flesh
Waiting to be lifted
Dead of the night
Ruled by zombies
Reanimates
Night after night

Here I am
Time has caught up
Departing dreams
Was once dense
Bounded chances letting go
Waiting for next return

Streams of hope
Lightly drifting apart
Or hollow dreams
Staring at me with an evil eye
Looking back through you
As you slowly thin out
Until something comes along....

Tonight
I tried holding you around my arms
But you have turned against me
As I leave the room
Reality comes back
There!
Click clack click clack tipity tap....
