I need
Warmth

I need
Energy

I need
Life

Plug me into the
Wall.

Charge me.

Let me sit there
Long after
My eyes glow
Full
And
Powerful

Let me
Sit there
When I
Might
Explode.

Plug me into
The
Wall

Save me

I don't want to die.
Nothing at this point in time,
at this point in my life,
would satisfy me more as to consume another human being.
To open myself like parted seas
then selfishly,
ravenously,
close myself again, engrossing him.
Devouring his flesh in mine.
The longer this yearning desire goes unquenched,
the more painfully hopeless I am of tranquillizing it.
It cries in the night, wishing to be consoled,
I coo to it in vain.
I am entirely alone.

Make-up hides the bumps, (she has too many)
Shadow highlights the eyes, (hers are much too dull)
Curler fixes the hair. (there's not enough of it)
But what,
my dear,
Do you call a heart?

Push up bra to help the girls, (they're too small to notice)
Tight shirt to reveal, (what's worth revealing)
New jeans to show your... Assets. (not that it's big)
But what,
 My dear,
Do you call your heart?

A Duvall
meddle meddle meddle worm
had crawled beneath the skin
of a big red juicy apple
to see if it was sick.
that reckless worm dug some more
it warmed itself and wormed itself
into the apples core
and there it saw the rotten seeds
and all the dying spores
and turned and thought
"oh, what a big mess!'
but as it squirmed towards the sky
it opened up its eyes,
and the meddle meddle meddle worm
saw her rotten trail,
and to her big surprise,
she finally realized
that she had been the cause
of that apples slow demise.
