I live in the wilderness
Shower in the rain
Dry in the sun
and change my mind an hour later.
Follow thy Heart
Temper Heart with Mind
Hone Mind with Soul

The beautiful Black Queen
Graceful, misunderstood, too often
unseen
She lacks vanity although she is
pure perfection
She floats across the room
Regal in her being
The most beautiful mark upon this Earth
The beautiful Black Queen displays
strength.
perseverance.
class.
When you lay your eyes upon her you will
know that you are in the presence of royalty
Of greatness
The beautiful Black Queen is art
Flawless and everlasting
She...she is forever
I am the queen of what ifs
Sitting on a throne of could've beens

My fears are my loyal subjects
Escorting my dreams to the gallows

My ambitions are now prisoners
To my court of procrastination

I, the queen
Reign over all of this regret
May we never forget

I, The Queen ©

Chin up,
Look ahead,
Back Straight,
Innocence.

Keep in check,
Don't act out,
Don't let them see you cry,
Statue-like,

It isn't easy being queen,
It's harder than it seems,

Ruling the world,
With a firm steady hand,

Showing the world the picture perfect image they want to see,
Unable to be free.
The Melanin in our Skin
The Plumpness of our Lips
The Honey of our Eyes
The Span of our Hips
The Shine in our Smiles
The Power in our gentle Minds
The Care in our Hands
The Love in our Hearts
Makes Us Queens

She is an atlas
her eyes deepest
and darkest Africa

Unfolded I hold her
tracing the source
of her diamonds and gold

In search of the motherload.
