To many trying to teach
When they don't understand the lesson
Too many trying to preach
When they don't know the truth
Everyone is so sure
Convinced and convicted
But anyone that can reason
Can only say they are learning
And what they know today
Is less than they knew yesterday
But sometimes less is more
Little circles of light
Dull orange and white
Through the screen and glass
On a calm rainy night

Soft hands on rough soles
Thinking with no goals
Perhaps somewhere out there
My future will unfold

In the soft rain of untouched dreams
You go now
Where none have before
Into the great depths
That yawn before us

The night is dark
But the seven stars will guide you
Along the path
That leads to our future

And though I will be gone
When you return to this place
Know that I thought of you
Each and every day

Though you are alone
I pray you smile
For you are the hope of man
In an uncertain world

All I can gurantee
Is that the world you come back to
Will not be the same
If indeed

It yet remains
Shall we dance?
Under the light
Of the million stars
Would you fake a smile
telling me it's alright
Then there would be no time
No past, no future. Just you and I
And the music of the trees
Silence of the night
We will dance to this beat
I know it's not more than a dream
But it would be nice
That you and I
We could  just dance
And forget about past
You and I
Forever we could last
your eyes as an ocean
which I can sink in
every time I gaze at
I feel my bones burning
I found myself thinking
how my life is ending
ringing bells like singing
a goodbye as I'm leaving
I'm going to an end
to an end without you
up my way everything
turns into black and blue
hope is so far away
shades of blue turns to gray
there's nothing left to say
all I gotta do is" fade away
and never comeback again."
My love was too much
to stay alive
in such a life

In the night they lie
Thirteen graves in the sky
To the martyrs of old
That yet they may die

Those saints now below
Beneath rock and snow
In the chambers of old
Locked long ago

Their resolve was extreme
For that sacrifice supreme
To cull the great sickness
That came from our dreams

Ever now do they wander
In those great hollows yonder
So that yet we might live

Within our own minds
Meaning is meaningless
If it isn't also true
The world and what it is
Is the same to me and you

By believing something contrary
To the universe we see
We don't solve any problems
Or better you and me

So let's hold truth sacred
As the unknown's only key
Uniting under its banner
For it will set us free

In a world so filled with apathy
Someone has to feel
I'm sorry that you're one of the chosen

Plagued by the weight of the world
It can be hard to deal
The task of those who live with their eyes open

Your thoughts are your thoughts
Your emotions are just
Nothing could make that less valid

Those who don't understand
May think they have the upper hand
But their lives are the ones that are pallid
This is for anyone who is fighting an inner battle, though it was written for someone in specific. They know who they are.
Yawning damp corridors
Vacant sunken narthexes
The dull light of candles
And that of a fading sun

A somber hymn
Of dissonant chords
Echoes through the walls
Of weathered and ancient stone

Distant voices call out
Through the abandoned ages
Undefined by time or space
Yet eternally bound within them

A hollow moon rises
Through the stained and dusty windows
Soothing the spirits
In their sepulchral chambers

Bidding them return
Across vast deserts of sleep
To the eternal oasis
Of lost and sable dreams
Crescent moons were her eyes
Molten silver her flowing dress
The night sky receded in her presence
And the stars adorned her like jewels

A strange cosmic elegance emanated from her
An almost unreal grace and beauty
The likes of which is not know
In this world or any other

My eyes were blinded by her brilliance
But my heart was darkened as well
As if a great immemorial sorrow
Originated from somewhere within her

I wished to reach out and touch her
If only briefly
But the more i tried
The further she withdrew

Until she was but a faint light
Far off in the depths
And to this day looking at the night sky
I feel that eternal sorrow

That once she shared with me
