Rhythms of Lunar Cadence
Jacky Xiang Oct 2010
With eager hope, lines are flung from stone quays,
In cerulean depths, lobsters drink crystal *****,
Banners of Mars ripple across lengthening days,
March festivals surrounds the sky with ambrosia.

Tiny dinghies dot the shores of crystal shine,
Jewel glints on serene ripples of the coast,
Velvet gloves of mirth while we wine and dine,
April races into hedonistic delights with a toast.

Gentle showers of rain caress our joyous minds,
Feeling the sweet uplifting scents assail us,
Choirs of birds paint rainbows for the colorblind,
May serenity soothes the birth of young Horus.

Beauteous blooms decorate the healthy fields,
Amidst the hush, come avalanche of avian flocks,
Summer-tide tickles the sickle it wishes to wield,
June love bind resonating halves in holy wedlock.

Spectral symphonies echo with rise of nations,
Waves of sultry heat from pulsating solar veins,
Let the tellurian realm bask in sleepy volition,
July warmth masterfully holds onto summer reins.

The waving forest whisper missives of lasting peace,
Stroll through sylvan woods to reveal new dreams,
The graceful rush of lucent creeks has not ceased,
August reverie rests on the soil of our daydreams.

Falling colors heralds summer's wave of adieu,
Scarlet pillows above billows of restless seas,
The harvest of ripened grains among rich milieu,
September bounty overflows the humble eaves.

Waning sunset unleash dying orange hues,
Above deep carpets of brittle gilded leaves,
Somber silence greets the coming of bad news,
October winds whistle through the lonely caves.

A maple flag shivers in the frigid air,
Upon a parapet far on the distant hill,
Boreal winds herald flares of despair,
November ice upon empty lifeless mills.

From gloomy blooms above fell sparkling dust,
Asthmatic gales howl by gates of frozen pearls,
'Tween the valley crevice, stellar shine avast!
December frost rimes up the stormy whirls.

Chains of stiff ******* will soon be asunder,
Bolts of aurelian steel pierce the somber veil,
Of numb terraqueous veins arise new wonders,
January snow cradles early blossoms well.

The day's eye blinks awake across the skyline,
Phantom calls from across the sea stuck in time,
Steady upward climb the green grapevine,
February thaw shall meet the thirsty maritime.
Wrote half of it before midterms, and the other half after midterms. March is traditionally the first month of the year. It is the meteorological beginning of spring. A chronicle of a single orbit on the third planet of our solar system.

Lecherous Blades of Grass
Jacky Xiang Oct 2010
Tango like there is ****** no gravity,
Fading up into the winds of levity.
Felt the world's stories on my shoulders,
'Tween Heaven and Hell, an epic I tell.

Smitten, in a flash, she deftly kissed me,
A smooch of death, the fragrance of tea.
Spying the end is to be in heavy debt,
To the unseen origin, now of inspect.

Vexed for larcenous dogs stole my nova,
Patience of the Everest; pressured lava,
Toward the high noon sun, soaring too fast,
Warming our visage, winds behind a full mast.

Colorful beams from heights of the precipice,
The monolith painting chromatic auspices,
Yet the churning oceans voice their unrest,
Against shields of Earth, the Hydra will test.

I can hear the green, caressed by a breeze,
Through the wet looking glass, I was seized.
A brazen gasp of life lifts the starry shroud,
Swim through the maze of a microcosmic cloud.
Listening to The Morning Of's newest album.. continually. :D To be honest, I don't understand my title.. but it's awesome. :P I think my impulsive title has origins in the idea of the fresh tendrils of nature reaches out to its children... >_> nonsensical indeed. haha.

Amorphous Blight
Jacky Xiang Oct 2010
The vale of creating souls forsaken my vows,
Descend the nebulous hammer upon my names,
To leash the Moirae to command Eros's bow,
Here lies the broken scroll writ in dying flames.

Round the earth trod Hade's iron red needs,
Upon the vanguard of the auric age to come,
Fear not! For new blooms nap in fertile seeds,
Smash thy jolly jugs and drink thy ***!

Fill the rift of every forge with molten ore,
Tis unreal till life illustrate the drying golds,
Against the ethereal anvil of ancient lore,
Which knights in fealty do Aphrodite hold?
Apparently a combination of listening to Goemon OST Akihiko Matsumoto and reading John Keats produces some rather deep/nonsensical scripts. :D

Dear porcelain, would I were perfect as you art,
Not in dull translucence do you shine,
Gleaming brilliance cloaked yet unmarred,
Mirror mirror of conscious dreams of mine.

The distant chime, chime of deathly knells,
Of shattered pebbles down scented lunar peaks,
Of soft crystal frost into the veil they fell,
Let my masks abscond, leaving eyelids weak.

Such sweet ache plagues my nightly mares,
Loveless lone splendor beneath blacken skies,
Nap 'tween the orchards ripe with pears,
Awakenings torn asunder the happy lies.

Sail-less ketch off candle-lit cavern shores,
Colossal etched symbols of Hecate's spells,
Till desire and woe to oblivion they soar,
Will gladly blunder through all seven Hells.

Absent from day's eye are the auric beams,
Silent be the hymn from above, off-tune flutes,
In motion I stand in fear of reluctant dreams,
Wounded peregrine looking at the open blues.
I dedicate this poem to all the fantastic people I've met at CEDA.

Emote the Inane
Jacky Xiang Oct 2010
Gild the marble as divine as ice,
Day's eye sinking below the horizon line,
Red dust drift among torrential specks,
Echoes boom from the valley pine.

Lay upon the crisp sunny hay,
Clean the grime from the sapphire quay,
Immerse 'tween the twilight breeze,
Asps should *******, leave me in peace.

As synchrony reach cacophony,
Our destinies uncross, tis uncanny.
If true, a key unlocks powers of lore,
Against, the key forfeits my very soul.

Capture my seat of soft emotions,
Crush it against your decrepit merits weigh,
Scheme within your empty jeweled mansions,
Burn to ashes my undead void lest it decay.

All such entities loving their tragedies,
Ridiculous melodramatic melodies.
Slouch and wallow as monuments,
Imaginary quagmire of queer torments.

Swing the fury of Krato's strike,
Kneel in dust of ancient plights,
Hold thy loved ones above the light,
Spy the ragged truth outside insight.

Flood the starry gates: drown my pain,
From colossi reduced to ******* straits,
My mask cares less lest I am unpaid,
Friendship once did the beloved slay.

Tears trembles upon my eye.
Good-bye time, **friend of mine.
Friendship once did the beloved slay...

Crumble Beneath the Sky
Jacky Xiang Oct 2010
Approach the meridian sun,
Halves forever fated be apart,
Abyssal divide by their own labor.
Brilliant reverie towards the Fraser,
To flow slowly into the blue Pacific.

Way up high in the rainbow,
The dreams we dare to dream,
Aspire under the twinkling stars.
Over the wispy snowy peaks,
Peregrines soar, they fly.

Across the viridian greens,
Through the cloak of morning mists,
Blood red roses sway.
She who wakes upon a spring day.
Sigh... he who dares not breathe.
Well, it's cloudy today.. so I'm not entirely sure why I wrote this.. something I yearn for, perhaps? A very free style. I'd like to think the meanings rhyme rather than the words. :D I stress this piece should be read slowly and enunciated carefully.. may I suggest pausing after each line?

Illuminate the Abyss
Jacky Xiang Sep 2010
Walking nightmares along piano keys,
Between the shine of ebullient dyes.
The dying echoes up cavern heights,
The dancing spark, buried in the sands.

Why not reap my verse for dying words,
The ****** dawn of a vimful curse.
Lingual crass from the hill of tunes,
Emeralds flew right into the hourglass.

Wine as ink writ upon yellow scrolls,
Smelt the ersatz core with diamond souls
Glare at the darkness between the lines,
Where is my verve but for those true fears?

Descend the shadows...
My blight! I'll bring wings.
Subconscious patterns. Answers of the questions not yet asked. Nonsense. Just some creative spiel. :P

Dichotomy of Insanity
Jacky Xiang Sep 2010
All perish whence they quest for immortality,
Such foolish dreams will result in fatality.
Critters struggle in nets of ersatz reality,
Hormonal clashes unbalance our morality.

Under the influence by budding, ravishing thyme,
Oft' that sunny beam leaves me doing pantomime.
Chaste clues and envy droughts left me mellowing,
Such pain ipso facto I can't kiss this porcelain.

My seat of notions drives me to calculate,
While undead, fatigued, I falsely formulate.
Floundering in viscous fluids, I am drowning...
My verdant sail is half-mast: lonely, frowning.

Within moon-lit meadows, shadows flow cursively,
Beyond the kaleidoscope lay a rustic key.
Beg you pardon the rust and blackened fissures,
Pardon those slights to open eternal treasures.

To crave two heart beats align in synchrony,
To sluice my fingers through the strands of memory.
Embracing silvery asps soaring on the breeze,
My sight spies thy adieu and I shatter apiece.

Un-writing errors, distantly, unstumbling,
The abyss: now a star, wings unfurling.
'Tween the heavens fell meteoric golds,
Sinusoidal cascades of such sublime codes.

Traversed steadily upon the gilded firmaments,
Was so small, blind to the unseen monuments.
To be offered aristocratic absolution,
From my humble plebeian resolution.

I am sublime. 'Hold my dichotomous, nay,
Such cantankerous introversion within, eh?
Wrote this throughout the day on a school day (Wednesday). If I was told I was going to produce so much scribbles in the morning, I'd have called them insane. Anyhow, just a slice of my mind on this sunny day. In regards to the title: there's always some insanity in adoration, but a piece of reason also exists within that madness. :)

What is Unwritten?
Jacky Xiang Sep 2010
We are peculiar characters,
Ignite the blaze among brethren.
With simple vices of cogitors,
Beliefs, labels: stumble; fallen.

We value our semper fidelis,
Whence last your soul was caressed?
A casual stroll won't suffice,
From the abyss your heart was fetched

Above the crowd, our gaze collide,
Troubled thinkers be seeking zen.
Below the stars always beside,
Distant paths be unwritten.
Wrote this at 3am in the ****** morning on a Monday.. >_< Read and reread.. seems well constructed.

The Gaia Monologue
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
Rolling dawn to dusk across the starry length,
Spiraling circles amidst blazing orbs.
Held no memories of my stellar birth,
Nor tell vast upheavals of mighty epics.

Early shedding of original flames,
A layer of hydrogen was burned away.
Convulsions, diarrhea shrouds my youth,
A steamy cloak caresses my tender skin.

Around four billion laps before this day,
Life awakened in my ancient depths.
Poison polluted my outer coat, aye,
As oxygen poured from primal bugs.

Cycles of warmth and ice marks my crotch,
Evolving life, risking death, must adapt.
Such poor creatures persist beneath my watch,
I shelter them from the frigid void.

Toward the day of the dull red giant,
Even I am facing the gates of malicious wrath.
All shall perish under their final monument,
From youth, to strength, then wisdom, onto death.

Sadly, star dust tells no tales.
This one is one of my earliest poems.. rescued from being permanently mothballed; or rather resurrected from the grade school cemetery. This is most likely a product from those dreaded Reader's Workshops.. I can still remember the ******* drivel I had to hurdle over.. *shudder*

Uncertainty
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
Progression of ages,
Winking across the misty eye.
Where to be?
Path of an obscure mind.

Flittering echoes:
Subtly heralding a yawning void.
A certain future:
Only in dreams of wishful men.

Sunrise spy sunset,
Wasted time from guessing fools.
Faint rhythms,
New trends perpetually rise.

Historian’s creed,
Crossroads meet, many futures wait.
Hope of yesterday,
May we choose with wisdom today.

Cosmic Melancholia
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
Fare thee well by islets of time,
Beauteous blooms of fragrance; of thyme.
Gliding symphonies beckons thine eye,
Gentle minds float toward sky high.

O cues sung by the siren, allure!
Once, fusion of reason borne pillar.
Twice ponder, may our paths entwine,
Thrice to act, unlike the tranquil Seine.

Like angelic enigmas par Euler,
Soar upon the painted auric frontier.
Air fresh: an ebullient morning dew,
Wisdom: moisture for the thirsty few.

By spring fountain, if thou art inclined,
Bright sparrow among the bovine herd.
Lo, argent quarry of dust- liquid guile,
Behold, product beyond thunder- gale.

Scents of lavender assail thy sleep,
Euphoric dreams, we welcome with glee!
Sleepy horizons, a glorious dawn,
Morning filled with a trillion suns.

Some time, some day: travel the stars,
Mortal shackles unchain my awful maw.
Pupil of Aristotle, Darwin, and Vinci,
There lies truth; a transient hierarchy...

Orison of Idyll Thought
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
My arrival be somber farewell,
In jazzy silence, my essence await.
Lo, sail for the rising horizon!
Sunlit glory marks my precarious path.
An eerie dawn heralds my journey.
Behind wispy clouds lie hidden stars.
Burning minds under siege from rain,
Where art my refuge... a warm embrace?

_____________

Subterranean, its my exeunt.
Beyond the fog lies fresh adventure.
Shackle my pride, envy, ignorance,
Marvelous wonder upon colossal peaks.
Brazen meadows shimmer under solar scrutiny.
Foreshadowed by towering nobility,
A morning hue bathe the sylvan valley,
An idyllic breeze ruffle my hair.

_____________

Dreams of avarice,
Coveting all property.
Faster and faster,
More and more, eternal.
Liberty for people,
Nay, for the few.
Aristocracy!
Ruling class rules... to sin.

______________

I am falling toward the sky.
Instantly mesmerized by your bright eyes.
Feelings of perfection corrodes all my might.
Your light caught me by surprise.
Our paths crossed as the planets aligned.
Our eyes meet, you make me feel the vibe.
I wonder if you are so inclined.
Terrified, I just want to make it out alive.

Felicitous Hindsight
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
My anomalous trip thus far has been dichotomous.
Harbingers motivate my advent: a chorus.
Acceptance of frolic ventures sent: a quest.
My sneakers meet familiar soil at last.

Designed to be a panacea, yet I fall ill.
Sleets of rain impact my soul: a slight chill.
Hazed trance, awashed clean of all acrimony.
A lurid stroll, downhill, parallel, perfunctory.

I, a stoic mercenary, avenging my ties tonight.
Arcane magic flow through my veins, my sight.
Moisture sparkle, glistens through my mental maze.
Resistance, control: I attempt to regain ablaze.

Synaptics fuse, burn, misfire, discombobulate.
Higher functions remain: calculus, formulate.
Veritas! Visual focus be on 2D layer sharp.
Disintegrated data sung with melodious harp.

Laissez-faire slayed by Communist meritocracy.
Mental hierarchy arise from wayward sorcery.
My affection for her nets only melancholia.
The amity cease... yet reborn by spying cornea.

Upon a hill from sea to sea brings forth diplomacy.
Lively lads, enshrouded in black; they be prodigies.
Persons of worth: one stranger joins their ranks.
If my creed offend, beg you pardon pranks.

Silent drizzle softly sings of night and majesty.
Lament under moonlight, behold gray sanctity.
Ne'er shall dreadful turmoil befall our facilities.
Literature conceals such divine secrecy.

What be a hero, whether men or women, cometh loud or silently?
Will to right wrongs, bring justice, suffer worldly injustice willingly?
Peace time ****** are rewarded with death, absolute law,
In war and times of flux, killing be viewed with praise and awe.

Righteous paladin challenge evil kings when others yield to tyranny...
Enlightening masses of reason, entrenched bigotry through poetry.
Father searching through garbage for his child's teddy bear,
While uncles and aunts view dirtying hands with fear.

Fleeting Visions
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
Carefree drizzles softly sings as bliss and ease taken wing.
Gaze upon the auric blooms while sweet melodies, mellowing.
Alleviate our friend's crises, their debts, paid in purple silvers.
Eliminate those pesky mortal threats, lest blood spills in liters.

Toward our star, astride the verde, vibrant beauteous noise.
Abating virtues, without the merde, cometh Byronic poise.
A smoken distance, famished flames, fiery tongues yearning.
A fearful master, ***** dames, merry songs flowing.

Parallel meridians lovingly caress floating wisps of white.
Quarreling impulses embracing soaring orbs of light.
Bright.
See... sigh.

Lavender shades cushion our convents of misty mysteries.
Serene panacea tease me upon sapience; argent histories.
Ebullient crush casting glaring lights into the hostile wind.
Beneath dusky whirlwinds come hazel sparks of sand.

Glory guilty of detested crimes, anon trembling tears.
Inspiration follow thy limelight; guidance of young seers.
A canvas of blue, emotions ablaze through one hundred days.
Amber pillars burdened with wishful horizons... come what may.

Never believe our luxurious dreams under the rainy rainbow.
Drowning in sunshine, tis the era to escape the clutches of limbo.
Cease our anthropocentrics to soar on frozen blooms tonight.
Taste vermillion pain, lest we be gluttons, spying; useless insight.

Mirrors refracting broken perfection, for ever-clear prisms.
Commit altruist favors for all our mistaken rhythms.
Behold the mind, mightier than a sword, bitter tool of priests.
Crusading zen, grander than any reward, come join the feast. <3

Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
A frozen avalanche set my night aglitter,
A festive shroud descends upon the theater.
Crimson sirens cleave apart the verdant veil,
Into the darkness we stride without fail.

Beyond the jubilation lies the next chapter,
With adamant fortitude we give thee cheer.
To each their own joys; for none with least,
Lest we drown in today, few dice are cast.

Behold my picture, let the verdict be: asleepy.
I jest, I grin, yet within: smooth boreal sea.
Tis simpler to repulse that which is coveted,
A gaze that levels souls; I've gladly forfeited.

Why? I cannot answer what I do not know,
Yet reason continues to war with my soul.
Let the rain cleanse my self-aimed ire,
From whence come this burning desire?

By dulcet caitiff, I set my conundrum aside,
The crux of life remain, my Draconian hide.
Plebeian ennui paralyzes my gifted facilities,
Enough sophistry, let I bid thee turgidities.

Let mine eyes be painted blind.
How else to behold beauty so fine?
Why, my sober vision...
Scream in revulsion! :DD

The Vincible Cloak
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
I aimlessly drifted in teenage years,
From subtle scion to zaftig plebe.
Seen phony glory, vanquished fears,
And the stench of a wicked glebe.

From below, saw the stars up high,
Igniting horizons with callow wonder.
Beheld colossal beauty with mine inner eye,
Begged for chained thoughts asunder.

Amidst the serene flock to be slain,
Oft' a titan, seldom a vacant savant.
Known sorrow, elation, gain, vain, pain,
This mortal hour, hear joyful lament.

How quick we are to bid farewell,
How slow for friendship to pierce the cloth.
The rhythmic ache of that darkened knell,
The sobbing whimpers for a lover's warmth.

Nix for reciprocated amity, yet!
My seat of affection thrives in twilight.
Herein discipline is adamantly set,
Whence shall this ****** ire take flight?

Into the night that covers my soul,
Unleash that verdant star I see.
The divine abyss have taken its toll,
I pray the shadow is only me.

Note the ease to neglect one's clan,
Yet savored glee of reunions by blood.
Fury cease my elder ties, an infant plan,
By filial ardor, I still kneel in mud.

Star-shine ablaze onto vivid blooms,
Arise the stench of broiling debris.
Beauteous summer-tide metronomes,
The sinking scythe follow gales of peace.

Labor come sweat yield sweet fruition,
Tis annual come the bronze harvest.
Wrongful vengeance seek humble redemption,
Autumn under siege of well-fed zest.

Stormy vista rime graying meadows,
Entrench the sepsis by the ice age.
Taste weeping woe of guilty widows,
Lest their beloved hunger in cage.

Arise young lilac out of barren frosts,
Touch the vital aura to begin anew.
Altruists gladly pay auric costs,
To stalk vile leviathan into dew.

May stones bear indistinct distinction,
So my stride shall stumble and falter.
Peace paint heroes of sluggish fiction,
Chaos rouse prodigies from quiet slumber.
Hereby alive at that phantasmal junction betwixt effort and lax. I'm quite impressed with this one. :) Now I have this nagging fear that I may one day exhaust my eloquence or lack thereof. :D

Lady Harken under Guillotine
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
By your leave, let I slumber once forever..
And my moment shall never realize itself.
My portfolio possess no wherewithal wager,
My seat of affection is now dull and rough.

Sepsis leak a foggy black since blight is nigh,
The sea is feeble whilst the sun shine naught.
The corpse of venal men flow unhealthy dye,
Henceforth pervade the soil with miasmic malt.

Lest my mistimed demise be not remembered,
Shall the script mark y'all failed to deter abuse.
Today my ember is snuffed and plundered,
On the morrow a bright star will rise, I muse.

Heed thine auguries borne from frigid stupor,
Vicious tendrils cascade upon my rigor mortis.
O gray vision as though gazing through vapor,
Hear that silent gasp veiled under my spicy lips.
Weary rhymes. The ink flowed into that direction. I followed. Peculiar. I blame the rain. :)) Btw, read it with a female voice.. lol.

Introverted Ire
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
Volcanic fury spies my bane,
Fragment the skies for ****** rain.
Malaise, ire, eclipsing lunar wane,
Taste ferric gore of inner vain.

Cannot expel this rotten stain,
Neural nets collide with a train.
My brain is made of candy cane,
Fake a smile lest I turn insane.

Murky shadows caress my mane,
While scintillating colors reign -
Supreme blades seek to slain..
That argent asp from memory lane.

Once scattered amidst the grain,
Mellow peace stole away my chain.
Find me some red paella in Spain,
Bask in sunny shine by the Seine.

Living a lie, what would I gain?
Revel in glory, yet there is pain.
Carpe diem, the future I disdain,
All aboard the seismic hydroplane.
I started it as a manifestation of my ire for making queer mistakes on my Calculus final. Ended in a weird alley.

Amethyst
Jacky Xiang Aug 2010
There rests a hole within our soul,
And some will scream "we've lost control!"
The void will consume the glutton whole,
For every vice, there's a greater foe.

The more we sieged against the wall,
The more it towered and left us small.
Yet behold all the walls we've broke,
And leaving dusty ruins in our wake.

On our knees and skyward we implore,
"Return us to past glory and lore!"
The answer seekers find no reply,
Conservative natures are bound to die.

May we gladly heed our own decree,
And free our spirits to the sky to flee.
Under the hammer, our chains demise,
From the rubble, angelic hymns arise.

Ode of lilac melodies was begun,
Dancing among the moon, stars, and sun.
Seek out wherever your joys may be,
We are masters of our fate said he.
The dichotomous resonance is delicious.
