It’s very quiet now
My sobbing has subsided to small gasps.
My face is wet and needs a drying but
I have no tissue and the air's
Too still and close to do the job.
It’s dark outside and even darker inside
Where the corner begs me to come huddle
And the blue screen mocks my efforts
To concoct a riddle that will save me.
I’ve tried every single thing I know
To find a way to change the past
But it remains immutable,
And I am locked inside
The Amber of regret
Never re-read old diaries.
The fear of Failure can move you forward more than Joy of success

Art is a statement about life's truths.
But what is art? It is music, it is poetry, it is song and paintings on the wall, it is the morning dew on the petals of flowers, it is the yellow autumn leaves, it is in the way you walk, it is in the way you talk, it everthing and nothing, it is what you make of it.

what is art to you?
My grandpa
             Words he gave
To me once upon a full moon
“Son” he said
“When you go into this life”
“Remember, that love is a language “
“So find, my son, find someone”
                     “Who speaks your language “
“So you don’t have to translate your soul”
The sand shifts beneath your feet,
Your heart relaxes to a quiet beat,
The waters seem to breathe day and night,
Close your eyes take it in do not fight,
The wind satisfies your soul,
Just relax now you've played your role,
Touch the sand now scoop it up,
Hold it in your hands and form a cup,
Now let it seep through towards the sandy ground,
Your soul was lost but now its found,
The weather you desire will come your way,
Just stand closer to the bay,
Soon life will be eternal for you and me,
Look beyond the ocean and tell me what you see.
                          -open heart poetry
Times are changing…
when reckless emotions inundate worldwide devices
with unfiltered sentiments to taint minds thru vices
nibbling on compassion and wisdom like rabid mice
allowing the beastly nature to dominate and entice
one's humanity to heed selfish or superficial advice

Times are changing…
when tolerance and forgiveness are fading dreadfully fast
with echoes warning us not to repeat an unforgettable past
where deathly anguish and heartless souls were the cast
of catastrophic drama epitomized by flags flying at half-mast
and prayers from the charitable, the humble, the meek were vast

Time are changing…
when the caretakers of the globe care less about harmony
seemingly beguiled with the hunger of power and want to be
rulers of wealth, consuming limited resources lacking empathy
until this earth becomes nakedly barren and can no longer be
home to descendants who cannot claim their manifest destiny.
A friend of mine told me
I write when I’m sad
She said it is as if I am in pain
And I said when I write it rains
When I put the pen on paper the clouds get dark
And when I stop
The birds of the sky sings
Coming out to play as the sun is out

someday it will
come again.
someday someone
will come in.

a star
with the deepest depths in the eyes
with the gentlest of breaths
and endless soul in the smile

one day
i'll forgive this pain
not forget -
we are all destined to love again, i am sure
I wish I were made of stone
So your words would never hurt me
I wish I were cold as ice
Then maybe I wouldn't be lonely

I wish I were made of steel
So my strength would never waver
If only I could turn back the clock
To a time when I felt safer

But I'm only flesh and bone
And your words have left me bleeding
My heart is torn apart
It's a wonder it's still beating

You made up your mind
Given me your final answer
What we shared is in the past
Time to write a brand new chapter

I will fix my broken heart
Some how piece it back together
It may never be the same
It'll bare this scar forever

But I'll be strong, I'll be alright
Though I'm not as hard as steel
And I can't turn back the clock
In heart will heal
