Crying between breaths of hatred
Screaming between gasps of truth

Yell my faults in blinded rage
And smash like glass our broken promises
It is 1:35AM and I am extremely tired and in quite a lot of physical pain.

I let myself be naïve
So why didn't you think to deceive
The truths that I couldn't hold
And lies that I should not be told
Leave me be I did not know
That you were neither friend nor foe
For when you say you want to die
You block my sun and blacken my sky

What does it matter to breathe, if not to have you desperately give your lungs to mine?
What does it matter to taste, if not to savour the careful ferocity of your lips?
What does it matter to speak, if not to be silenced by the declarations of your tenacious heart?
What does it matter to see, if not to look into the gentle honesty of your eyes?
What does it matter to live, if not to wake up knowing that we shall be parted only in death?

Your brain pattern is like poison
White noise fills me when I see you
Can you please just make fire with my mouth?

Bruise me and push me into your blindness
Put a band around my fickle heart and pull me close
Flowers don't grow where we tread
