Sunrise
tells me that I’m alive
Sunset reminds me
that I lived

Remember back when we were friends
It seems so long ago
You have moved on and I have sorrow
I wish we didn’t have so many loose ends
I want to see your name on my phone
I’m tired of being empty and alone
Ya boi the big sad

To think of the countless hours we spent in intimate conversation

The times when I heard you giddy with excitement
The times where sadness leaked out from behind your words

Your voice could feel like a warm blanket on a cold night
as well as it could feel like a dead winter's breeze

We laughed, we cried, and we sang in the car
When we made love your moans would dance through the air

But now when I think of your voice
I can't hear you anymore

Fine

I am fine.
I can admit it.
Although I dedicated 7 months
to find out you're not the one for me.
I wasn't top pick.
I wasn't the one you longed for.
Yet, you kept me around,
because you knew i'd do anything you asked.
But here I am.
I stood my ground
I took back what was mine,
my dignity,
my happiness,
and most importantly,
my life.

I'm sorry you wasted my time.

i want to write this poem
except i don't have words
i just have feelings
feelings that i have not
aloud myself to feel

A year and six months
Since the last time I saw you
Your sudden appearance
long overdue
you look so much older
Your hair is so long
Your eyes somehow colder
You ask me what’s wrong
And what can I tell you
What could I say
I guess that I miss you
I wish that you stayed
I guess I forgive you
For breaking my heart
For all you put me through
So I send my regards
To the man I once knew
because you are not the same
and neither am I
only life is to blame
so this is goodbye
