One may never know sadness until they look into the eyes of someone who doesn't love them back
Just as one can't know love
without knowing pain
Or anger without realizing peace
And happiness
without a little grief
For emotions are counter active,
and surely you have to know both sides of the story before you understand it
There's no way I can go back
For I had lost track and broke my compass
One step and I'm lost
One turn and I'm stuck

There's no way I can be strong
For I am a tower of cards
One blow  and I fall
One shake and I break

Maybe someone could bring me light
Maybe a dint of love can help me get by
Maybe there's love in love
But there's no love in the love that I know
I need help. I am hopeless.
that's the
question
asked of
a time or
two, while
sipping from
a glass poured
for me  and you
what's at the end
of the bottle or of
the glass? I  do not
know and it seems
rude to ask. I hope
we don't drink  to
glass breaking in
reality, or try to
see the truth of
you, and me
You make me breakfast, and I’ll make you lunch;
Bring me a flower, and I’ll bring you a bunch.
Walk with me a step, and I’ll travel with you a mile;
Every time you laugh I fall in love with your smile.
Sail in my boat, and I’ll fly in your plane;
You’re like the sunshine that’s dries up my rain.
Write me a letter, and I’ll sing you a song;
We knew our love could never be wrong;
Give me a hug, and I’ll give you a kiss;
Each second I'm with you is nothing but bliss;
Make me a promise, and I’ll swear you an oath;
Give me your hands, and I’ll hold them both.
can you catch a falling star
with hands afraid to trust
head bowed in shame
heart full of blame
too afraid to speak the truth

your star could fall at any time
and land within your grasp
keep your arms wide open
your head held high
and the words “I love you”
ever on your tongue
I.
cold knees.
my thoughts got tangled on your fingertips.
i've been tucking you in the dark creases of my mind.
II.
i'm stuck gazing upon you,
or at least what is left of you. at least.
III.
every sigh you breathe out joins the cold air.
IV.
your eyes holds an ocean of regrets.
your war cry is music to me.
V.
my love for your is a logical fallacy.
and I
put the "art" in breaking hearts.
knotting heartstrings into pretty bows:
bows for the locks of my hair
but possibly also for arrows.
VI.
be the cure that is contagious.
i think my sickness
is just over-diagnosing myself.
when your mind comes up with random poetic lines but you don't really know which poem to include them in.
You were the sunshine in my hair,
My seasonal love affair.

The sweet idea of no consequences,
Would constantly tease and tickle my senses.

But the raging storm was imminent,
And I couldn't help but get lost in it.

We were left stranded,
sitting there.

Bruised,

Broken,

Scarred,

Bare.
May I...
      trace the lines
                on your face?
                    and read what's written
                           in your palms.
                                  I want to know
                                            If I'm a part of
                                  your future
                 and if such a fate is
written in the stars.
            I wish I could know,
                    what to do with every
                                 freckle on your skin
                                            May I connect each fleck
                           to the ones on my arms?
               near my heart,
I'd create a galaxy
            of lovely stars
                        and new worlds
                                        for us to see
                                          and I'd know it'd be so
                                                                heavenly...
                                                 so may I take
                                your hand in my own
                   and let our tapestries
collide for all time.
Can you see me tonight?
Can I hug you tight?
Talk to me with no anger
No, meet me without hesitation.

Forgive me for my selfish desire
Forgive me for leaving and calling you liar

I didn't know what to say
But right now, I want to see your eyes.

Forgive me for not asking if you're alright
Forgive me for being angry with you all the time

I didn't know that my words hurt you
But right now, I want to heal you.

Forgive me for not saying sorry
Forgive me for not fighting

Talk to me tonight, I'll wait until you open
That door and let me come in again.
Be strong and learn to forgive. Be courageous  and learn to ask for forgiveness.
