Anything love
Hariharan S Dec 2015
Dogs smell tyres.
Chew on bones.
*** on tyres.
Get shooed away by stones.

Life menstruates.
Much too feminine.
Too much to cry about.
Too much pain.

The smaller you want.
The bigger you get.
The bigger you expect.
Nothing you get.

Years pass by.
Numbers keep rising.
The loop of trust diminishes.
Sitting by a fountain.

Chase a butterfly.
Wait till it sits.
Hold it within your palm.
Hold it till it fits.

Life ***** around.
Too much stink.
Too much to wash about.
You dwell in the stink.

Listen to big hearts.
Believe in small minds.
Trust in what you want to.
Life still grinds.

Fight gravity.
Stay up till you fall.
Right after you fall.
Don’t believe in gravity at all.

Gauge equations.
Evaluate situations.
Fatigue creeps in.
Your mind; and its discretions.

Love till you die.
Die till you love.
It’s all unfair.
Unjust.
Love; and it expectations.

He Is He
Hariharan S Dec 2015
He
Who
Talks
The
Walks
And
Walks
The
Talks
Blabbers
Talks
Makes sense
Senses ****
Walks away
When
He
Is bored
Is tired
He
Walks
Too much
Too far
Likes it

He
Perhaps
Experiences
****

****
That
He
May be
Shielding

He cuts loose
The struggle
He lets go

He
Begins to travel
As he desires

To know
More or less
Battles
The usual mess
But
On the inside
Only on the inside

Distinguishes
The real
From the surreal

He sings
About life
About bikes
About the mountains
Aloud
So that
The world could hear
About her
But on the inside
Only on the inside

He dances
To dance
Just for the ****
He’s not good
But he dances
Jives
Not good
Street dances
Pretty good
Dancing legs
A delight
To his mind

Infectious
With his laugh
And
An asymmetric smile

Lives
In dreams
In parts

The world
For him
Has fallen
The world
For him
Fallen

Still
He rises
For him
He inspires
Himself
Admires
Life

He
Is
He

Copywriter, uninterested.
Hariharan S Dec 2015
This breed.
Unlike those who are ignorant.
Ideas arise from their heads.
Make their minds look pale.

This breed.
Their thoughts are unfinished.
Unclear, to be precise.
And they will have an opinion even on someone’s ****.

This breed.
They stagnate when the times arises.
Question, when the world needs answers.
Panic when the struggle subsides.

This breed.
Thinks of his pen as a rocket.
Thinks of the rocket as a fumigator to repel the pests from the whole wide world.
Thinks that what he thinks is truly imaginative.

This breed.
Put.s a full stop whenev.er he wants to.
Makes a simple sentence sound convoluted.
Just like the one above.

This breed.
An uninterested advertising copywriter.

A madman
Hariharan S Dec 2015
I see people looking at me when I’m not yelling at them.
I see people running away from me when I’m pelting stones at broken cars.
I’m walking alone with barking dogs.
I see crying kids when I smile at them.
I see hand prints all over my body for eating fruits.
I see my black eye in a mirror, all for just asking food.
I hear screaming horns, when I’m just crossing the road.
I hear shoutings, when I’m just trying to sleep in the park.

All that I do is what I do.
All that I take is what I never asked for.

I see no difference between you and me.
Is it because you are yourself, and I am me?

The road
Hariharan S Oct 2015
It is safe.
The road is.
I have tried it.
My feet have walked it.

Let’s leave.

Let the pen stay.
On the desk, untouched.
Let the book remain.
On the shelf, unread.
Let the wealth remain.
Unearned.

Life is on the road.
I give you my hand.

Are you coming?

My alter ego
Hariharan S Oct 2015
The frown in my smile,
The dead eyes in my heart so alive.
They were him. They were him.

The spaces between now and then,
Where I knew all in between,
Where he knew more than I did.

Aiming at targets,
That didn’t deserve to be hit.
I couldn’t even see. He did.

In my heart are the skies,
In his belief are the stars.
We hit. We hit the ground so hard.

There’s a better part of hunger in me.

I begin negotiations with him.
We fall apart. I fall apart.

More than a friend
Hariharan S Oct 2015
I can’t
see you as a friend.
Just can’t
say that you were one.
I can’t
stop searching for someone to love.
Just can’t
say that we are done.

Woman of the street
Hariharan S Oct 2015
I heard the silent footsteps in the dark,
I heard whispering laughs.
Heard a silent call,
“Hey, are you looking for someone?”

I answered her call,
I said, “Yes, I am”.

It was hate at first sight,
Hatred with the life she chose.

The dusky face, the rosy lips,
The tight top and the sorrow within.
Exposing the voluptuous curves of misery,
And a fake smile behind the true lips.

She could have been a woman, too...
A woman of everyone’s dreams.
