Worthless words
In wasted ink
Nowhere thoughts
Are all I think

Shall I map
This living mess
From death to birth
From cursed to blessed

As I write of love
Slipped through my hands
With every word
This heartbeat ******

To relive the past
In a flowery array
What worthless words
Would I convey ...

We shalt maketh amare
On the craters of the moon....
And ourn babies
Shalt be the nebula's
As the stars to be their cradles.....
Mi amour' labeled..

There is a war in my heart
When did this start?
I feel like I'm caving in
to myself from within

Such a heavy weight on my chest
Can someone take a little and leave me the rest?
But there is no one in sight
Just me outside and alone on this starry night.

This pain is getting the best of me
fading away of what I used to be
I can feel the raging war
My heart grows fierce even more

I fall to my knees gripping my heart
It throbs about to burst apart
I sqeeze my eyes shut to the pain
Feel the water run down my face from the rain

Then I hear someone close by
I look up and begin to cry
For who I see in front of me
Is the couple we were meant to be

I wander to where I was last
I sit
I read
Your name, the dates on the stone in different contrast

There is a War in my heart
I pray it will be the last
To a friend.

Delaney
My eyes are weary
and teary.
My smile is faded
and painted.
My heart is torn
and forlorn.

I'm broken, dear.
Far too broken, I fear.

Love
We both hated each other,
I annoyed you,
You irked me.

A few months later

We became best friends,
I made you laugh,
you challenged me.

A few months later

We fell for each other,
I'd sneak glances at you,
You made me happy.

A few months later

We held hands,
I fell harder for you,
You may have for me too.

A Year Later

We grew up,
I changed,
You didn't like it.

Poets read
Poets write
No poet is wrong or right
Sad or Happy
Fine or ******
Loved or hated
Lazy or dedicated
Still or dynamic
Warm or poikilothermic
Fresh or stifled air
Nature doesn't care
Stars are going to glow
Your spirits high or low
Rivers will still flow
With winters come snow
And for summer we know
The winds will always blow
Birds will fly and tire
Nothing outshine's desire
But even that everlasting flame
Dies and leaves ash of blame
A new day will come, sun will rise
With expectations we open our eyes
Set new plans, hands on the guns
Aluta continua, be it monks or nuns
The roads of yesterday forgotten
And new ones at present trodden
Some will walk some will drive
Others stuck while some arrive
It's everyday's common tune
Be it January or june
A poet will rhyme,singers'll sing
Provoke a bee, It's gonna sting
Some live to die, some die to live
can't stay forever,some point we'll leave
Such is strife but strife is life
Unless It's the afterlife
The dusk will come to fight the dawn
Returning to daily *** or daily ****
You play the chess, you move a pawn
Some hearts are mended,others torn
You was a kid, but soon you've grown
With a brother now, soon he's gone
It's the way the clock of nature works
With no insulator to avoid her shocks
