A blanket of sheer darkness spread into the heavens.

As the moon and stars light the night with whispered legends

Of the bone-chilling graveyard that is long forgotten

A swirl of the violent, howling, and biting wind

Chills my bones, disrupts my mood, and freezes my skin

I shivered in pure silence; my hands are tightly bound.

Suddenly, I heard a deep, strange, and macabre sound.

A demonic laugh comes from the skull in the lake

I ran away and soon found the safe path I could take.

I panted and asked, "Why did he laugh? Is he alive?"

My mind made illusions that drive me to insanity

I pinched myself hard and brought myself back to reality.

With curiosity, I visited the eerie place.

A once-holy graveyard that lost its ethereal grace

It is a den of doleful and vengeful spirits.

Roaming around, frightening each man who visits it

Along with the bodies buried six feet underground

The soil decayed as the leaves from the trees fell and browned.

The plants formerly known for their beauty are wilting.

The gloomy, unclean, and abandoned graves are crumbling.

Into millions of cracked and forgotten stones

Tall grasses enveloped me as the cruel wind moans.

I escaped from the blades so lethal and overgrown.

A trickle from the moss synchronised with my bitter and hot tears.

For I saw your grave; I didn't know you left me after all these years.

I'm here in this mysterious place.
A once-holy graveyard that lost its grace
They say it's a den of doleful and vengeful spirits.
Roaming around, frightening every person who visits it.
Along with the bodies buried underground
The graveyard has died as the leaves from the looming trees fell and browned.
The plants are wilting.
The unclean graves are breaking.
Into millions of little stones
Tall grasses envelop us as the wind moans.

Coffee-induced dreams

A web of threads weaves

Into the matrix

A fake reality tricks

Our minds into submission

Is it a ruse or a mission?

Played by the gods or cosmos

Our lives play along the most.

We roleplay our characters.

We show our false avatars.

Till we don't know who we are

Open and read the chapters.

Of the cursed and banned books

To reveal the lies of the crooks

Our lives will cease to be the same.

Open your mind and halt this game.
An ethereal being with beautiful movements
An attractive smile lights up these dim moments.
You awaken each fiber of my existence.
Shining angel, you entice me with your wings.
Like a statue, I stand strong on sacred grounds.
Enamored by your company whenever you're near
A kiss that's like a fountain, overflowing
A yearning whisper resounds in the mountain.
I look and pursue you like a moth to fire.
Your face haunts my dreams; I wish to know your name.
But I'm not worthy because we are not the same.
We're living in different worlds. You came
In my life full of troubles and wicked games
By the tree I lurk as I watch you from afar.
My yearning heart whispers to the falling star.
We'll meet again, and I'll know who you are.
The beauty of your lights calms me

You are harmony and chaos combined

My delighted soul travels freely

As the enchanting lights and quiet sky intertwined

Suddenly, nature sings in the early morning

To awaken every living creature and being

We go outside to marvel at the beautiful sky

The explosion of wild colors resembles the fireworks in the Fourth of July

A deer walks and admires the wonderful sight

Of the sky filled with captivating lights that shine so bright

In awe of the universe and nature’s divine beauty and grace

I stand and thank the aurora borealis and mutter to myself:

“It’s a great day to be alive!”

I cherish this moment and promise to look forward to better days.
