sparkling among the stars

just like a full moon

and everything shines
made to fit in rhymes

good morning
the sun is out
at the end of an August drought
I could see a new plant sprout

everyday I would take care of it
promising to never quit

one day a flower appeared
but she was weird
like she wouldn’t fit
lost in a place where her hues
were my main muse
too beautiful to be normal

then I realize
sun’s light had became dim
because, by now, that flower
was the one bringing light to the garden.

When she cries
it's like shooting stars fly
right across the sky
and a piece of me die
because I just wanted
to see her smile.

Her tears were like a storm
one of those that makes you cry

And her smile was like the morning sun
one of those that makes you feel alive

The weather has never been so intense
and it hurts to live in a house without windows.

Nights awake
too much time to waste
thinking what to think
what you think
about me

But then I realise
you are the only thing
on my mind.

She was just another star
from a distant constellation

But she didn't know that
looking from his planet
she was already a
beautiful nebula.

In a starry-starry night
you tell to look up at the sky
and then I realise

the star that shines the most
is the one by my side.

I used to think
about traveling the world
searching for a happy place to go

but then I've met this girl
and realized
I'm in the happiest place I could be,
