I just want the light a little longer
I want to hold your face in my hands
So I could allow my desires to grow stronger
And be ready when the moon in your eyes lands!
‘A little longer’ I always wish it to be
To see through before I read it all
From that point I would never ever be free
From the steepest plunge to the endless fall!
But it’s never greed that consumes me
Rather a craving to slow the pace
To remain frozen longer than eternity
Holding in my hands your face!
Time is always turning,
The sun in the sky is still burning,
But like everything in life,
The flowers of summer come and go.
Just like the golden leaves of Autumn
Or the crisp white winter snow.
Nothing lasts forever
Sooner or later it will all just go.

Time is always moving
It's a battle we'll always be losing
Life's too short to sit and dwell
On all the things we don't do well
The times are always changing
The summer sun will set again
The clouds will form and bring the rain
But nothing will ever last forever.

Maybe if I twist my cigarette a little more,
I can shift the world.

Maybe if I can just look you in the eye,
I can let you in my mind.

Maybe if you touch my hand a little bit,
the snow would melt off my fingertips.

My skin is a little chilly, ice-ridden,
you might just get frost-bitten.

But the fire in your eyes,
tells me where your intentions lie.

I'm in the mood for someone,
someone like you.

Monday I swam out of cavern
Tuesday I grew my wing
Wednesday entrenched in tavern
I was jolly perfectly going.
Thursday saw my graying head
My knees weren’t that strong
Lights in my eyes did fade
When Friday came along.
I started missing the bygone
Took refuge in my past
Felt deserted all alone
Friday didn’t long last.
Saturday came clothed in curse
My senses dimmed voice hushed
Sunday arrived on a flowered hearse
Knew not when the week passed.

Getting up from the crumpled bed,
resurrected from the dead, once more,
he looks the world in the face, panicked,
he is back in to being from the land of  nothingness,
he was hardly aware of the non existence,
in the land of sleep, mysterious camouflage,
for war time secrets to be kept safe.

He doesn't have to pretend, to be a child again,
morning sows hopes, in vivid colours, he grows up
evening dissolves in loss, bleak darkness, finis.

What he gets in between becomes meaningless,
unless at least a smile gives wings
to the sad heart, to rejoice defying angst,
that swings between, life after life, day after day.
Silly souls
Don't admire me
Don't love me
I will
Destroy you

Heartlessly
I will abuse
Those three little words

Selfishly
I will lay
My chest
above yours

Silly soul
Sentiment does not
Roam my streets

But you did

Silly soul,
Now,
I will make you feel
alive
As I pierce my venom
Into your innocence

Intoxicated with my
Poison,
I will skin you
And wear you
And write about you

After my mission,
Farewell goes your
Silly soul
Into my river
Of destroyed gullibles
Just
Like
You.
