I dream in visions of lavender and daffodils.
The canvas you paint reflects femininity so infinite and divine.
Each stroke of your brush tastes like spring time and peach.
I am reminded with the promise of forever as you color me with the delicacy of your cherry tree.

Spring Awakening
Nicole Apr 7
That time of the year has returned.
I observe as the seeds planted in your garden begin to flourish.
Sprinklings of self-care throughout the seasons, with just enough light.
Such beauty unravels so quickly.
Something in the way the air recognizes the kindness embedded in your roots,
and with every wildflower I pick, I find a new way to love you.

Have I told you lately?
You are captivating.
A presence so striking,
it is paralyzing.
Mesmerized by aspen gold and caramel, then shades of evergreen.
With every gaze, you take a piece of me, and place those pieces on the same set of shelves as the company you keep after dark.
I am just a collection of curiosity.
I can taste the honey that falls from your lips every time you look at me, but nothing is as sweet as when you call my name.
In those moments, I cannot speak, but do not be fooled by the absence of my words, for my eyes do all the talking.

Waves Of You
Nicole Mar 21
Waves of you crash before me as I swim in a lustful flood I do not fear to drown in. Craving treasure that is hidden like the garden of secrets I search for in your mouth.
One sip to quench my sinful thirst, enough to end this forbidden drought.
Submerged as deep as you allow, aching with pleasure, and only come up for air to watch the sun rise in your eyes.

See Through
Nicole May 2019
Behind the mask, I see you.
Your eyes tell a story your mouth can’t express.
Is it fear? Is it caution?
Are you incapable of receiving what you don’t give yourself?
That’s a shame.
I know the yearning.
I know the craving.
I know that make believe is in your nature.
Detachment comes easy.
But I am here to put that all to rest.
Every touch, taste, breath, and sound will live within you.
There will never be another like me.

Internal war arises,
the motive, surface bliss,
a contradicting theory with a diplomatic twist.

Reconstruct the naked eye,
time to play inception,
shift the focus left to right and transform one's perception.

Guilty of deceiving,
directed from the east,
have always been a beauty, will forever be the beast.

Thank You
Nicole Aug 2017
To watch you breathe is a gift,
a treasure that I can't replace.
You are the epitome of timeless,
and my only saving grace.

Before there was no light.
Darkness, that swallowed me whole.
And surrounded by a silence,
one that sure had took its toll.

Shattered but intriguing,
a mystery nonetheless.
But you picked up the pieces,
and tidied up the mess.

A word, a phrase, a sentence,
like heaven to my ears.
This joy has filled a void,
one I've had for many years.

A thank you is in order,
but it wouldn't be enough.
To show you is exhausting,
cause breaking walls is tough.

I could tell you I love you,
but what I feel is so much more.
You are my guide and flashlight,
the one that I adore.

A life would not be worth living,
if your heart were not in my hand.
And to love without condition,
is the future that I plan.

From this day forward I promise you,
your heart is all I see.
You are the love of my life,
and thank you for loving me.

Miserable Company
Nicole Jul 2016
Inside my head there is a voice,
angelic, so it seems,
that sings at morning, noon and night,
but mostly in my dreams.
She takes me on adventures,
to lands, to seas, to stars,
but leaves as soon as we have reached a distance all too far.
I wonder why she leaves me,
I wonder where she's gone,
the devil's work is done once you've become her sacred spawn.
Destroy all that you care for,
all things that you may love,
without a sense of guilt because you are unworthy of.
And after I am finished,
I crawl back on hand and knee,
so her and I can raise a glass to miserable company.
I wrote this so very long ago, but still one of my favorites.

Inside the tiny cupboard holds a piece of sinful pleasure,
forbidden fruit that you and I conceal like hidden treasure.
Upon this ship seduction docks itself across the bay,
with wicked thoughts at night and curiosity by day.
Overwhelming pleasure, pain and all that's in between,
drowning seas of secrets if the gentlemen had seen.
Inside the tiny cupboard holds a piece of honest pleasure,
where I aboard as captain and you shine as sapphic treasure.

Shards of Glass
Nicole Apr 2016
Tranquil auras set the tone,
traveled time, what love has grown,
piercing shards of shattered glass was all that we had known.

Alluring scripts, poetic
Salacious sounds, eclectic
Chemistry astounding, ever pure, two hearts, kinetic.

Piece by piece we gathered
what remained of tainted souls,
only to discover brokenness had made us whole.
It's been a while.

If I Told You
Nicole Sep 2015
If I told you I could hear your thoughts,
would you close your eyes, explore, get lost?
If I told you I could feel your grief,
would you take my hand, deny, believe?
If I told you I could see your pain,
would you hold me close, dismiss, refrain?
If I told you I could love you so,
would you let me go?

Take Me Home
Nicole Jul 2015
Along the dusty sidewalks of a road I choose to roam,
I chase the broken pavements for a light to take me home.
While pleading for forgiveness, I ask to understand,
my heart, my dreams, my sadness,
one to wash the sins of hand.
And as I search for clarity, the thought is all aglow,
but darkness, it surrounds me and is all I'll ever know.
Along the dusty sidewalks of a road I choose to roam,
I chase the broken pavements for a light to take me home.

But through my brave intrusiveness, a storm began to brew,
the thrill of yearning wanderlust had led me straight to you.

Sunday Morning
Nicole May 2015
As the morning meets the night,
I watch intensely.
How wonderful to see the sun greet the stars with such elegance and grace.
I listen to your subtle sighs and calming breaths as you slowly reach consciousness.
You are so beautiful to me.
I'm tangled in these sheets, wrapped inside your love, caught up in this moment.
I lie here overwhelmed by tasty thoughts of you, as I gaze with infatuation.
My fingertips slowly glide across your skin, just enough to feel my presence, but remain in your gentle state.
To wake you would be sinful,
so I keep a watchful eye until you rise above me.
It's 9:36 on a Sunday morning,
and this is how I imagine the rest of our days.

To You
Nicole Apr 2015
To feel you without touch,
to see you without vision,
to taste you without tongue,
to clash without collision.

To breathe you without lungs,
to savor without scent,
to listen without sound,
to sin without repent.

To live without a life,
to calm without a breath,
to fall without a break,
to die without a death.
I'll be saving my love for you.

I want your hands to travel through the depths of the oceans,

I want your tongue to taste the flowing streams, and swallow the dulcet blend of the current.
I want.

My Little Flower
Nicole Mar 2015
Hello my little flower,
that blooms each day and night,
your vibrant colors radiate and shine ever so bright.

I'd like to pick you up and show you all there is to see,
a waterfall, exotic bird or weeping willow tree.

But if I pick you up I know in time you'll surely die,
I'd catch your fallen petals with regret and wonder why.

Goodbye my little flower,
our love is all I know,
the greatest joy I've ever had was just to watch you grow.

In your eyes, I see things I know I cannot touch, and though I still reach for them, I know that in return those things will not only touch me, but move me, and take me to places that only appear in my wildest dreams.

Off your tongue, I hear things I know I will not feel, and as I listen to your careless whispers, I know that even though your words are often toxic, there's a certain kind of pleasure, one that fulfills each and every one of my inner fantasies.

On your lips, I taste things I know I cannot change, and as I remain hopeful, the distance between us will integrate and have been nothing but a continuation of a never ending love that recovers from the tender bruises we have caused.

My only wish is to touch, feel and change all that I have seen, heard and tasted. Breathe me, and give our other senses the chance to come alive.

Past Life
Nicole Jan 2015
To think I lived a past life is quite a thrilling thought.
The obstacles, the pleasantries, the goals and dreams I sought.
But that is just assuming as a human I was formed,
my soul has detached many times and later was transformed.
A flowing stream, a fallen leaf, a weeping willow tree,
a scorpion, volcanic rock or gentle bumble bee.
I'm swimming in a pool of endless possibilities,
in hopes that in this new life I will finally understand me.

Death, I Do Not Fear
Nicole Dec 2014
Dandelions and honeybees,
take me where I want to be,
above the great sequoia trees,
death, I do not fear.

Shooting stars and midnight skies,
erase the times in which I've cried,
below I've yet to wonder why,
death, I do not fear.

Fields of everlasting peace,
unity of those deceased,
paradise to say the least,
death, I do not fear.

Dandelions and honeybees,
take me where I need to be,
this earth, it has no place for me,
death, I do not fear.

This yearning I possess, do you see a correlation?
