sometime life gets weary you feel so alone
cant get used to emptiness living on your own
lost inside yoursel no where you can go
gone now as the love that you used know

you feel like a hermit locked inside a shell
locked away from life in your lonely cell
all you have are memories you can look upon
these are special things that will help you carry on
The wind whispered gently
It will all be okay
His thoughts slipped with the teeming rain
The meadow held him where he lay
Slumber came
Time went by
But he would not awake
Flowers grew and took his place
He dreamed of brighter days
Sometimes life gets so confusing and overwhelming and we just need someone to say its going to be okay. And even if it isnt, it will be one day. I think nature is telling us it is all okay. We can look at the stars and the rain. They are connected to us as we are to them.
Words flow endlessly,
from my heart, cannot break free.
Trapped in poetry.
Soft falls the light,
not sea nor beach nor seabird wandering sky
it is by nature separate and entirely of itself
edged in sand, a yellow shade of rippled countenance
not exactly day nor coming night
although the evening tide has lately been
it is a colour somewhere in-between
I am leaving now
my love
and I will leave my heart with you
safekeeping
for better days
no longer can I stay.
When the rain comes
It cleans everything
Streets are washed
Thirsty plants turn greener
Flowers flourish
Grass grows taller
The air is fresher
Everything looks new

When the rain comes
It slows down the world
The sound is calming
Almost hypnotic
Animals seek shelter
Watching
As each drop comes
Knowing the earth is being replenished

When the rain comes
Life comes
Rain doesn’t make everything soft
So why do my tears
turn my world
into a puddle
