Serene is the ocean beneath the feet of the lover, pebbles swim yet fishes eat one another.

The lover gazes into the clouds of fur and leather, wondering whether there will be a stormy weather.

The busy bee makes it's delicacy with no interruption, gathering with no thought or assumption.

The volcano erupted with no precaution. A tornado came to tame what seemed a natural disaster but submerged into chaotic motion.

The lover stays with feet fixed beneath the wet sand to absorb all the climentic weather. Ready to face the commotion.

If I write another
could you not be bothered?!
that I for now, matter.
And unlike any other
this is not for you to shatter.
This is for ME, to remind ME that I write for MYSELF, for MY dreams, for MY contentment.

Well it is for YOU as well, for YOU to read and try to understand, but only that.

A leaf clings helplessly as all its

companions grow weary

and weak and let their

holds fail.

This leaf

refuses, despite great

winds and storms of both

rain and snow. It holds on

and I'm reminded every time I walk

on by, that the battle is well worth

the effort.

Hold on,
           lonely leaf.

Here's the good news:
Today was normal
And the sun rose.
There was a remarkable
Lack of storms
And there was mail
with kind words
In each envelope.
The cashier at the store
Gave you a smile
And the traffic was not
Jammed for an accident.
Planes landed without incident
And their jet streams
Spelled out nothing more
Than perpendicular lines.
Today your stomach was full
And your heart was light.
There were fresh apples
And you counted three dogs
On your way to work.
Everyone you love
Kept living.
You showered off
The mundane day
In silence, using the same
Shampoo that youve
Bought for years.
And you crawled into bed
Knowing that the schools
Were safe,
Animals were rescued,
And diseases were cured.
As you closed your eyes
You thought
Here's the good news:
Today was normal.

Standing in a harvested field, the sky touching the ground
Not a raise, a tree, or a hill to be found
A coal black cloud is coming down
Standing there head back, hoping in it's rain I drown
My heart is bleeding black
Everything from a young age went so off track
I am just the black sheep
I am just the freak
Watch me as my eyes leak
This lonely watch I keep
On my knees now I just weep
It's only sorrow that I reap
For a life lived amongst the ruins
Living under a storm constantly brewing
Daylight seeped through once or twice
Made the formless bleakness more than thrice
So I beg for no more light
It just makes it harder to fight
If blackness is where I'm ment to stay
Just keep the sun far away

Humans don't love
getting hurt, but apparently
this one enjoys pain.
