Keith Wilson
I saw
the other side
of nature
yesterday
A sparrow hawk
swooped down
and
took out
a pigeon
ate it all up
There were feathers
everywhere
That was the cruel side
of nature

Traveler
And when my mind
Is finally gone
No recall
Of what went wrong
Memories blurred
No longer cursed
Judged and blessed
Of all my worth

I will set quietly
In happy thoughts
Awaiting the stages
Where death is lost
Where you and I
Shall meet again
Hearts in minds
Behind our pens

No need to believe
In promises made
Entropy is
An eternal phase
.............
Traveler Tim
he left himself loose,
in beauty's collected works;
returned enlightened
in between dreaming and the harsh awareness of reality
my hand found the place where you used to lay
brushing against the perfectly unmoved sheets
making its way to the perfectly
untouched pillow
eyes opening, gazing, and sinking as reality set in
you weren't just "up early"
walking the dog,
making us coffee,
...waiting to wake me with a kiss to the forehead

my knuckles turned as white as the sheets as
they clenched the place that once was you
holding onto whatever they could of your memory
believing if I squeezed hard enough
I could get the last drop of you out

just for this morning

Rockie
Moonlight, Starlight,
Twinkle Bear Blue,
I've got a spell,
That's perfect for you,
One drop of night,
One ray of day,
And the joy of owning
Your very first kite,
Moonlight, Starlight
Little *Bear Blue.

My love is starlight
falling into the luster
of a waxing moon

You told me you
              Couldn't find your way
                                     In your darkest nights
So I left you a star
               A star in every poem
                               To find your way home
//On her//
Thank you all for loving this poem so much! It's such an honor to have a daily poem.
I wrote this for a special someone in my life.
