Your kiss was like lightning but lightning meant pain and I remember I told you it was never meant to be this way then I pushed you away but you were never here to stay so I watched the winds blow you away and how many times do I have to scream I love you for you to come back my way I know that the clouds filled up our skies and the rain that fell was equivalent to the tears that feel from our eyes but through the darkness your blue eyes were a reminder of the summer sky and the warmth of your body next to mine held me together throughout the winter and even though the last few months we slept back to back it was better then sleeping alone. I know that I need you like flowers need sun and I always knew that you were the one ..

The Lonely Remnants
Wearing the fakest smile just to hide the pain,
I know that you feel it everyday,
I’m sorry it hurts, but life just happens that way,
I know it could **** you, but please just lose the fear,
It’d go real easy if you just shed it like tears,
How can’t you see that you’re still alive,
Even if you feel dead inside,
Don’t worry baby I could heal your wounds,
If you’d just let me really see you,
I could heal you,
And I’ll try to,
I could fix you,
If you want me to,
It may seem scary,
What I’ll have to do,
Baby I could heal you,
But who's going to save me?
Who's going to fix me?
You want to but you just can't,
I'll already be gone.
I'm trying not to breathe

The Lonely Remnants
You were my first boyfriend,
my first date,
my first kiss,
my first slow dance,
You were the first to make me feel special,
my first love,
my first heartbreak,
But you weren't the first to use me,
Degrade me,
Hurt me,
Leave me,
And you probably won't be the last,
I still think about you now and again,
But it doesn't hurt as much as it used to,
It doesn't rip my heart out anymore,
It just shakes it,
The same way I shook my head the first time you said you loved me,
I was unable to believe you felt that way,
Like my heart still isn't able to believe you would hurt me like that,
I loved you,
And you left.
I found someone new

She Can Sing

Star Gazer
Your soft voice was a sweet coating of honey,
You sang for your own pleasure,
Never sang once for the earning of money,
Your voice became your treasure.

I remember the way you'd look into my eyes,
When you sang your medley of popular songs,
I can still recall the way the sung notes would rise,
And I knew you sang to my heart all along.

Sometimes being alive,
Has less to do with life,
And more to do with death.

Sometimes evading death,
Is what living is really about.
Nothing more, nothing less...

Star Gazer
Struggling to stay alive,
We found ways to survive,
That was when we found love.
A feel that the sky is over us,
That it will always be above,
And the clouds rained of fluff,
Showering us in nothing but love.

Love penetrates the clouds,
To let the sunshine pass through,
For wherever the sky enshrouds,
There lives a little love too.

Let the Poetry...

Let the poetry...
Write itself....
As the ripe new moon
strums the swaying
silhouettes of the night.

Let the poetry...
Write herself...
With the vast
expanse of obsidian sky.
Pocked subtly with the shy
murmurs of the stars...
Offering solace and peaceful respite.

Let the poetry...*
Write of you...
As the splendour...
Envelopes each unspoken letter.
Embedding words of warmth,
that seize my heart
in a state of enamour...
Before taking its majestic flight.
