Bury the pain till it drives you insane
Don't let them win don't forget your kin
It's eating you up darling good luck
They're calling you lazy but you're just going crazy
You sad little thing your bell will ring
It's coming to the end you can no longer pretend
The voices in your head bind you to your bed
The secrets your smile hides you are so full of lies
No one will want you your life is through
They tell you you're wrong but it's too late you're gone.

We should find a favorite spot,
Go camping there once a year.
In between the traveling about,
From there, to there, to there to here.

Put daisies up in my tangled hair,
And I will you help with yours.
Kiss me when I stir from a night mare,
Kiss my lips and make me soar.

We may only own a single teapot,
Living in the wilderness is an odd career.
But we'll never wish to be elsewhere,
In the morning when we wake to a herd of deer.

The little pitter-patter of tiny feet
Running to daddy and mommy.
A sound that would be so sweet
Even if sentences are a bit clumsy.

I don't think I ever loved my own voice
Until I learned to read poetry out loud.

Poets

Slow down, take a breath,
You don't have to push the words out religiously.
Each poem you write,
Is a delicate enchantment of your heart and soul.
Treat them with care.
Be gentle, be harsh, let your words flow out of you.
But never force.
Forced words end in corrupt ideals and rocky reading.
Slow down, take a breath,
You don't have to push the word out religiously.

My Dear Girl

And this is for a young woman
Whom I love more than most.
Who shows kindness to all,
Even the ones who boast.

She's patient and loving,
And quiet and sweet.
She's a flower so beautiful,
Her red petals so neat.

Humble and forgiving,
She won't hate her foe.
She's strong within Christ,
And she conquers sorrow.

For now I shall stop,
Though I could go on for days.
I can see it already,
She'll blush at this praise.

Coming Home

Something about the way you said
"When I get home from work"
Made me want to be that girl
That you kiss when you're home.

And one of my favorite things
Is when we just sit quietly,
Because we don't have to talk
To be content and happy.

We don't have to ask constantly
"How are you my darling dear"
Because if one of us is hurting
We know the other will listen.

The way you and I are together
Is just better than anything I've seen
And I wouldn't trade you for the world
You and I should stick with each other.
Just a  little ranting about a friend

Lonely little elven girl, sitting in her yew tree seat,
Around fair lips your words do curl, in a way that's pretty and neat.
You dance and prance and shine so bright.
In beautiful circles you do twirl, you dance to your own heartbeat,
Silently you jump and whirl, the swift ease of your bare-feet.
You are the most brilliant star at night.

Traveling little mermaid, on your way to find your love,
Your heart has been remade, as you gaze at the stars above.
Swim as far as you can with daylight.
On your shoulders your hair does cascade, long and of
The softest strands it is made, more gentle than a dove.
Lay your head to rest in the moonlight.

Peaceful fair young princess, your prince will surely wait,
On your heart is a deepness, a light and heavy weight.
Close your eyes but not your sight.
The morning air holds crispness, as you silently sneak out the gate,
Run because you feel the nearness, leap in the arms of your soul-mate.
Hold your love and hold him tight.

Quite silent dreaming one, don't lose the things you admire,
Always let the imagination run, and with your heart conspire.
Let your dreams take over tonight.
Speak aloud any question, and let the answers transpire,
Inner depths have been awoken, you darling precious sapphire.
Fall in love under starlight.

Pure Bliss

I remember the windy day after church
We were waiting outside a resturant
For our parents to arrive.

I remember the way you held me
You kissed my lips, against a wall
Your mom was so ******.
I didn't care
I was in pure bliss.

I remember the day we were home alone
We were waiting in the living room
For my parents to come home

I remember the way you held me
You kissed me and, I kissed back
They would have been so ******.
I didn't care
I was in pure bliss.

I remember the Sunday in January
We were waiting so hungrily
For my parents to finish talking.

I remember the way she looked at us
She thought we were already married
Nothing that day would make us ******.
We were in pure bliss.

I remember that warm night in August
We kept being torn apart
For I was new and you were not.

I remember when we finally hung out
And when we spoke words so heartfelt
Nothing again would make us ******.
We are in pure bliss.

I remember sitting on a park bench
It was dark but I felt bright.
I remember the way you kissed me
It was imperfect but so flawless and from the heart.

I remember the taste of your lips when we pulled away and smiled under the street light. I remember after sharing out first kiss we shared a cigarette, and then we shared our hearts in a subtle secret way. You've tainted my life and all my memories are filled with you.

We await in desperate silence for those to love us, that we first loved. Waiting for what we hope will be, what could be, and all that we've desired our entire lives. Compassion. Adoration. Comfort. Love.

She’s feeling your pressure
To get attention
In all the wrong places,
Don’t you see her?
She knows you’ll stop her
From making the wrong decision
One of the reasons she loves you,
Won't you stop her?
Stop her.
Save her.
Hold her.
Love her.
She’s getting attention
In all the wrong places.
I was just ranting one day.. For all the young women I know, and don't know, that are searching for love but getting burnt instead. Rather rough-draft-ish
Of all the women I know,
She alone, stands out.
She walks with an air of grace,
Of gentility and kindess.

Days may come, hours may pass,
and still my love of her will never
meet its end. I see her heart,
it draws me nearer each moment.

One could say, I love her,
One could say I'm in awe of her,
I say, To love her is to worship her,
and to pursue her just as the Father
pursues her.
