The taint of sensuality.
The desire for renewed existence.
The taint of ignorance.

There's less of a fluent sleep.
Much less of a strong keep.
No bricks laid to defend.
All teared down, playing pretend.

If only you could see your influence.
Maybe you'd fix my unbalance.

What true happiness lies in accomplishing dreams?
Won't it all dissipate once we die?
Or can we at least find a way to leave those dreams solved for others?
So they may learn how to use a gained victory.

I once had a sense of direction.
A sort of great and good perception.

You walked in my fields.
Saw my faults and did not yield.

Thanks for sacrificing some peace.
I want your war back, please.

I've got closed shutters.
Books as rugs.
My soul's a gutter, no one would love.

I need no name.
You'd like what I'd say.
Care for me the same, and I'll do as I may.

Time is slow enough to seem invisible.
Yet quick enough to slap you across the face.

Don't let it show what was visible.
But be there to enjoy more than a race.

By saying none, I have promised more than enough.
To her, the word means as much as "them all".
My ways and words prove only to be rough.
When in fact, I'd wish for our distance to fall.

Rhymes and songs to me come crawling.
Yet from herself I feel but love.
Gnarl all I may, my heart is howling.
I wish her not, to see from above.
