Poems aren't written,
they're found,
Somewhere in your head the words are waiting,
They're sprawled across the floor,
You just need to pick them up,
Make a path with them,
Let your path guide observers,
And if you can't write,
Walk down somebody's else's path first,
First poem I've written, to anybody who reads this is hope you enjoyed it and it made you day a little better
It is what you don't know that will be used against you.

sing me your inspiration,
so that words may blossom
through the rings of the tree
in my paper.

gift me your passions,
so that pathways may carve
through inked rivers
and graphite daydreams.

paint me your love,
so that I may palette
your rainbow
and color my canvas

with my favorite colors of you.

the soft pink
of the inside of your lips,
and the offset grey
haloed through your eyelashes.

tiger lily freckles framed
by sweet peach
and wallflower blushes.

rainfall wrists
and dutch cocoa silk.

all my canvas needs
are the colors of you.
acrylic affirmations and watercolor whispers
As the sun navigates the sky
Ages will pass and time will come by
When the stars were shining, I was growing up
Responsibilities had settled in
And before I knew it,
I forgot about the stars

“Falling in love” is a contradiction in itself, because in love there is only the rising, the ascending, not the falling.
You can not fall in love, but rather, rise.
The emptiness in my eyes,
The truth behind my lies,
The fall before my rise,
And the goodbyes;

It scares me.

The dark beneath my skin,
The light within my sins,
The voice that loudly sings,
And my broken wings;

It scares me.

The wounds I can't heal,
The pain I can't feel,
The loss I can't deal,
And when I am real;

It scares me.

The silence in my little talks,
The stillness in my moonlit walks,
The thought of separate ways,
And my numbered days;

It scares me.

The demons under my bed,
The words spinning in my head,
The blood in my sweat,
And my cold breath;

It scares me.

I write this poem
Because I have a question
A question I have been wanting to ask you
From the day that I met you

We talked and talked
Shared songs
Spoke about jobs
Read poems
Talked about school

We spoke with each other
Through messages
So I never got to know your voice
Your way of talking

You might see where I am going
So I'll ask it directly
Will you meet me
Over a cup of coffee?

you don't have to hide it under long sleeves when you are with me
it hurts so much to see you go through the hell i just got out of
i know, you are a complicated person, you don't like to open up
i know, i saw it, i saw your scars, i feel you getting distant.
you're here and yet you're not
you are slowly dissolving, falling apart, dying
when i hug you it feels like i'm not hugging anyone
when we talk your mind does not come back
instead, it travels in the darkness,  drowning in loops and tunnel-visions.

is my worst nightmare coming true?
are you leaving?
please come back
we miss you.

don't leave me here.
im scared.

She was loyal while you cheated
She motivated you when you discouraged her
She held you up when you put her down
She lost good friends behind you and you slept with yours behind her
She gave you everything you wanted and you ignored everything she needed
She spoiled you in every way while you neglected her emotionally
She fought your demons with you and you threw your demons on her
She made sacrifices when you couldnt make compromises
She stood up for a relationship that you disrespected on a daily
She changed for you while you changed up on her
She wiped away your tears while you placed new ones on her face
She planned a future with you while you planned one with someone else
She put you first while you put her last
She made you an priority while you made her an option
