I do not know everything
I do not know why some birds fly
And some birds don't sing,
When early morning comes
Some birds cry
And some birds are listening
To the rising sun

And I do not know nothing
For I see how the caged bird
Is a sparrow without wings
And the smaller his cage gets
The louder he sings
The more broken his wings are
The stronger he believes

And after all this
I only know one thing
That we are like sparrows
And in the abandoned
Lies the beauty of our humanity
And that is why the caged bird
Will always sing beautifully
A German poem I wrote, translated to this and won best poem at my university...

I looked back at us one winter
And I felt a shiver
Thinking about
how cold it was
When you left.
But I should have embraced this cold,
Like a tree
Who drops it's clothes
And it's leaves
Unafraid of the cold
And stares winter
in it's eyes,
Deep and blue
And say,
Summer will be back soon

The stars envied her heavenly body...

I wish I'd said
The things I never did.
For I mean things
I never say,
And say things
That were never meant.

I wish
we could start over,
a new beginning
with no end.
One where we watched
the stars at night
And lived the dreams
We always dreamt.

And I wish I told you my dreams
When you were in them
Like the stars,
Late at night.
But I woke up this morning
From my dreams
And I saw you
As the sun began to rise.
To my dying...

I wonder if February
Was chosen to be the month of love
Because it's the shortest...

I try to forget your name,
But I keep seeing it in lightning
And I hear it in the rain.
I tried to scream
like thunder,
crying for you to stay,
But the words
fall out my mouth
like leaves,
And the wind
only blows them away.

Our lips were
waves crashing
on our bodies of salt water.
And every night was a storm.
