DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG

I'LL NEVER KNOW

WHAT IS RIGHT

WHAT IS WRONG
~
We don't need
Other worlds
We need mirrors

We need thin waists
And a hysteresis curve
To the hips

Let us drink in the sea
And laugh as our number
Comes up

Let us commit
To be noncommittal
And talk nary a word

On age and death
Over afternoon tea
In the bright withered garden

Where the goodness of man
Longed to be more
Than its darkling reflection

Traveler
His ship run a ground
Lost the pull of the morning tide
The moon abandoned him on the rocky coastline until late that night
Then he retuned to the waters
Due west towards the next sun set
Soon the waves carried him
Unto another life
He was free again!

I will miss the sound of your guitar

but I want to escape your judgement

no matter how many good songs you play

I still feel empty inside

I can see a storm behind your eyes

you hide behind an empty void

trapped inside my emotions

I can never find yours
The reflection in a puddle
May be a little distorted or muddled
The beauty still lies within
Run
Don't you
want to
just run
away?

If you run
I'll run
and I'll
try
my hardest
to keep up.
