If according to Physics,
empty space isn't empty,
my friend,
you're not empty.
If you feel empty,
remember that feelings
aren't true thermometer of reality.
Wake up!
What you need is discovery
of what you've got
and what you've got not,
but,
you're not empty.

Are you one of us?
The unseen...
The undervalued...
The void...
The used...
The mistreated...
The disposable.
Come through the gate,
Into a garden made just for us.
Where our efforts aren't shrugged away
Where we don't fear the love of our friends to be conditional
Where we are afforded reciprocity
We can smile with our faces toward the sun
Facing the warmth
Embracing the growth
Planting ourselves in this fanciful garden
Never to let anyone pluck a
Single
Precious
Petal
Ever again.

I have the worst habit:

swallowing life experiences
instead of savoring them

then afterward,
when my teeth are clean,
thinking, “That’s it.”

And wanting ever more.
Another life transition and I’m weary of glorifying the past. Wishing the good times were all my nostalgia makes them out to be.

It feels childish at times
Me, trying to coherently express
What I have felt
In lines, in stanzas, in rhymes
It feels all too futile sometimes
To think that I have to say something
That others have already said
Whyyyy do I do this to myself

red
neon
rain spattered
pavements teeming;
one thousand prismatic shades of meaning

graffiti-laden puddles splish, splosh, splash;
as midnight turns
to blue, and
dawn to
ash

‘I walked up, and I walked down, and I walked straight into a delicately dying sky, and finally the sequence of observed and observant things brought me, at my usual eating time, to a street so distant from my usual eating place that I decided to try a restaurant which stood on the fringe of the town. Night had fallen without sound or ceremony when I came out again.’

I want to pour
the overwhelming amount of
love
out of my heart
as a
sticky, pure red liquid
and use it as an ink
to write a love poem
as an attempt to
describe what I feel
for you.
you are making me feel things I've never felt before.

Blue jean sky
hangs over the park
The one i love next to me her
Arm resting behind me my
Head on her chest our
Legs tangled together like
Knotted strings
Blue jean grows darker
Our love grows brighter
She’s wrapped around me
Swaying to the beat of the music
My jacket around her shoulders
Red looks good on her
She sings along
I close my eyes
Is this bliss?
