I solve problems
To get my blood flowing
I play like a happy child

I miss dancing with you
I miss your witty jokes

Thoughts racing in my head
Laying in bed wide awake
Loneliness getting on my nerves
Closing my eyes hard, to sleep

But all I can do is weep
Wanting love & also afraid of heartbreak

In this treacherous terrain

Sky & Sea merge
In a magical land
With different hues
Of crimson & blues

Photographers, Surfers
And spectators on a
Rocky beach watching
A million diamonds sparkle

An Orange Sun
Playing peekaboo

The stillness feels like death
But movement isn't life either
I'm getting bored again
But moving around isn't the answer

I'd rather move inward
Make a temple in my heart
That only I can build or destroy

For I know why I move.
To feel home in places
Alien to humanity

We see them all the time
Who sell happiness as a meal
To unsuspecting people who're confused
They sound smart & have the right jokes

But follow closely & they get old
Bitter, experienced old men
Meddling into everyone's business
Trying to sell some happiness.
