Remember, my love
The wish...
And the promise.

With infinite hope,
We belong to this embrace
Attached...complete.

Join my rhapsody,
Know my peace.

As we dream away the world,
A thousand Good Mornings await.

The Mirror

“Are you afraid of dying?”
She says to the mirror.

One tear becomes two
As both sets of eyes seek redemption within the other.

Why fear dying
When living couldn’t be worse?

“How bad could it be?”
Perhaps the lesser of two evils…

No answer from her doppelganger

Just the same question…
Asked of the same heart.

Both pleading…
Both breaking…

Both dying for want of salvation.
Dying for want of escape.

you will be complete then.

when you are deaf again

when you are blind again.

when the world stops,

and all that is left, is love.

Silence Broken

Perfectly Silent
we fear desire;
uncertain voices whisper,
and the manacled poet no more speaks soul’s truth.

We transgress,
we confess

Obedient,

We manipulate a cold beauty;
not of our world.

Love is a dream,
after which only nightmares live.

We see them drowning

Grace, apparently finite,
not enough for deliverance.

The translucent dead speak their sorrow.
a haunting memory to invoke heart’s passion;
a vision of denying the last breath.

Those left to know
Were left to speak
A spark of thought… of action,
Where none has been.

Shall the ghosts of judgment foresee the coup?

Or will those who remain revive true beauty?
Which blind and seeing eyes alike recognize.

The vision is clear

A task has been set

A call to action from those silenced by fear

The price we pay for prevailing justice
Can never exceed
The price already paid.

Heart Song

The heart speaks
where a tongue falters..
True sight looks beyond the beyond;
into forever.

Be near.. sweet angel,
embrace loves choice,
fly to the promise;
fade not into never.

I'll stand
in the summer rain,
stuck in a moment;
returning empty handed.

We'll speak the last song
above the rooftops;
while the brightest star
falls in tune to our beating hearts.

All I am is yours;
our hearts join in song
rising together.
The faintest notes..
rising, rising.

I love you,
with a strained heart,
filled to bursting.
You are my release.

I love you
till the stars collapse,
and skies grow dark.
You are my guiding light.

I love you
till never is forever,
and always is our reality.
