The david badgerow I know
is charming like a cool summer breeze
If you're not careful though,
He'll bring you to your knees

The david badgerow I know
if you give him half a chance
First, he'll teach you how to sew,
Then he'll rip off your favorite pants

The david badgerow I know
is full of humor and thick wit
And if you know him long enough
you too will think he's the ****

The david badgerow I know
has eyes as blue and as deep as the sea
But if you know him long enough
I know you'll never want to leave

The david badgerow I know
is good looking, and looks great
And all this is coming from
inside myself, so I guess I can relate.

I need space
not much, just a small place
next to you

This bottle of Maker's Mark
on the floor
in the dark
is my bed,
the weeping willow
bent down and cried me a pillow
And this is wear I lay my head
But I

I need your face.
I need your face to call this my home.

I need your taste
and your waist
I need your hips and your lips and your voice.

I need your noise
I need your chin and your shins and your toes

I need your nose
snuggled so close to mine
that no light can shine through

I need you.

I leaned
and asked
Lord Byron,
"This is poetry, right?"

the theme of this party
is the industrial age
i came as a derailed steam engine
you were a doubtful catholic

the theme of this party
is the louisiana purchase
i came as a peso
urging you to openly weep

the theme of this party
is the enlightenment
i came as three guys infected with new faith
bringing you down on your knees

the theme of this party
is the american revolution
i came as all the British tea in Boston's harbor and

You dumped me.

I haven't seen the sun in three **** days.
sometimes
i want to curl up in a ball and catapult myself
into her fiery core and burn alive in joyous flame
but for now
all i have to feel is my own cold loneliness.
nothing lasts forever.
