The key to life isn't happiness.
The key to life is the feeling of accomplishment.
If you have accomplishment you find happiness.
If you have happiness you have the key to life.
So in reality,
I guess the key to life is happiness?
You miss the loved ones
but its the little things that are absent.

The one strand of their hair left on a winters coat
and eyelash lingering on a cheek.

A hidden  note
remembered after a struggling week.

Trying to find a heart's antidote
attempting not to feel so bleak.

But you  realize that it takes one breath in your lungs
to make you see that you are not a fragment.
Running through life
fearing the future,
fearing whats next;
running from life.
Yesterday on the curb
my life ended.
The curb bit me,
the grand master was controlling  it,
controlling the curb.
The horrible curb tried to hurt me,
and succeeded.

The curb wasn't' sorry for what it had done.
It apologized but didn't mean it.
It said it was sorry.
It wasn't sorry.

But guess what, curb?
I have a bulldozer that won't be sorry either.
The colors go
Splat.
Splat,
In the blank expression.
Splat,
Splat,
In the face of society.
Splat,
Splat,
In the heartless people.
Splat,
Splat,
In the tormented culture.
Splat,
Splat,
In the edges of darkness.
Splat,
Splat.
Splat goes the colors throughout the World.
Dreaming is when you think about how your life could be.
What could happen,
the what 'ifs' of life.

I dream all the time,
I dream because
My life is a dream.

The life I live is full of my dreams.
How could I ask for anything better then that.
The hurt
the frustration
being left
Left for what?
Left forever?
Left for the better good?
The better good of what?
Left

Not just left
abandoned
abandoned on a curb
not just a curb
the curb outside my home
Why is it that I am always being left?
Why is it that I am always being abandoned?
