I sit with the world
This perfect imperfection
Surrounds my body
Connor Squires Dec 2013
A cry for help
A protest.
A last resort

A plan undone
Filled with defiance
Still unnoticed
He burns in **silence.

I wish I knew
I wish. I know.
You know I wish
I wish for you
You for me
And me for you
You wish you knew
You wish. I know.
You wish for love
I say let go

Alone, I watch contently

A mother skipping with her son

Two friends, laughing

Children romping in the grass

Lovers,
lips locked

Alone in this togetherness
I wish for someone to hold me

Though I enjoy being alone,
I don’t fancy being                                                                       *lonely.

You're every move is perfection
Every word a soft kiss
I long for your affection
Every breath, pure bliss

But if you said that you love me
What would I do

remain silent

Becuase you'll never know I love you

A seal is broken

A problem arisen

An argument settled

A person belittled

Apathy present

A victor discerned

What will it take for us to  understand
That a  question answered,
is not always a lesson learned

The waves slowly lap the shore
like a hand reaching for something distant

You sit wishing there was more
but the waters rhythm seems persistent

Examining cracks that the waves have worn
your mind is made up, but your heart remains torn
