I wish you could see
How broken you left me
Lying in pieces
Struggling to put myself
Back together
The sky is blue
But not over me
An ominous cloud lurks
Raining torrentially
Washing bits of pieces away
From my pile of ******* nothingness
That my bleeding hands fight
To grasp hold of any
Shard of who I was
So I can slit my wrists
And use my blood as glue
To hold all I am left
Together.
But I can not adhere
Any of them together
So I'll just say **** it
And watch the pieces wash away
In the Torrential downpour
That is my life.
Waves painted the hull teal
the Sun colored in my skin,
while wind brushed strokes against my cheek

Water, tinged with foam and salt,
splashed my face
I woke up;
there were tears on the pillow
dreams

Flashback to 1999,
It's the summer,
Not a cloud in the sky.
Present day,
Things have changed,
Summer's over
And it rains here every day.

Don't cry,
We all make mistakes from time to time.
Unfortunately, for me,
Being me was mine.

But how so?
I'm only 19 years old.
I used to be so happy,
until the day the sun stopped rising.
One day* *in the dead of night
I'll be but shadows in light
Where I'll be more than free
Fervently you'll search for me

One day in the dead of night
You'll thus wander mazily in the dark
On roads of life which will ache
But I doubt you'll have me back

One day in the dead of night
You'll drown in star pools of light
Coz I'll be all thy heart shall crave
But then I'll be too deaf in a grave

One day in the dead of night
Fervently you'll wish having a sight
Sight at me but it'll be crystal clear
A word from me you'll never hear

One day in the dead of night
As a dive-dapper peers through the wave
Flaccid you'll stare at the infinite sky
Reminisce of mine infinite tenderness
Thus will be drawn to infinite oblivion

But most of all,

One day in the dead of night
As crystal clear as thy calcareous eyes
In-between thy sobs it'll dawn on thee
You must have been too young
To understand what love is
But its when you'll be old enough
To understand what love is

pink scars
peppered her lithe limbs
flower petals incised
on peach skin

moss coursed
withered yellow-brick channels
sloping loosely down
the crooked river mouth

clouds bulged
glazed heavily over the sun
like a flashlight
engulfed in sheets

lightning sliced
the pane of sky splintered
air ignited instantly
and danced around us
~
And every moment
of her existent,
I feel like
dying everytime.

Polished stone in gray-hued splendor
I see you seeing me
The real me
Beyond the facade
Through the masks
Can you see me seeing you
Behind your pain
Steeped in love
Truth hurts
So they say
But it's lies we tell ourselves
That gouge the deepest souls
Show me what you will
I will see what I will see
Baby steps to normalcy
Or giant leaps toward love
Fear tempered loneliness
Joy casts no shadows
In eyes of burning smoke
Pure light
In darkness breaks
No
Darkness breaks
In pure light
Why must one break another
I am fragile, cracked
Will you break my darkness
I am void
The absolute absence
Can your light
Penetrate the power of nothing
Why must one break another
Why must we torture
Those who won't shatter
