Butterflies fluttering
through shrubs and trees
everywhere,

Kangaroo droppings
scattered randomly
here and there.

Wombat burrows
make for a cool secret home,

Wild ferns in clumps
where deer
has been known to roam.

An ocean of giant trees
making waves
as far as the naked eye can see,

This is my piece of the forest,
This is where my heart is--this is home
to me.

My dream
to own a piece of Australian bushland
has finally come to be,

I am forever grateful and ever so thankful
that God has given this grand blessing
to us - to me.

My soul is beyond content today.
I thank dear God in heaven
For his blessings.
All praise to God!
It takes a very brave woman
to remain true to herself!

The day he stole my heart,
I knew I'd never get it back,

So I stole his heart
As payback - never to be returned;
I'll never give it back!

sweet chloe have you tamed that pretty bird,
as light as southern breezes on your arm?
how many hours have you beguiled and heard
your sparrow sing for you with graceful charm?
my poet's pen falls restless to the ground,
my fevered mind can find no peace today,
for all you do is praise his lilting sound
and pay no heed to anything i say.
great neptune throws his trident in despair,
apollo breathes, his tresses filled with fire
and i am left with solitary care
for jove cannot bring comfort with his lyre.
i do not wait forever at your door,
the burdened ocean storming to the shore.
written as if it was horace writing the poem.

Thousands of beads of rain fall
Never sinking into the right grounds
As hordes of seeds of thoughts die
Never really losing you
Never really keeping you

Impulses received as afterthoughts
I'm the person you deserve
When the door closes behind you

Were the crafted seconds to be
It would take but one for you to see
These hardened layers through
It takes just one to believe

Time passes
Seconds turn to years
The silence is beautiful
blanketing all
Like snow choking out all that's living
But glistening like gems in the light
This soul nestled inside the same bones

Yours..
There is nothing quite like the feeling
Of having security, in love,

You always know where you stand
Whenever push comes to shove.

An infinite ocean
With no shore in site,

A beacon of guiding light
On the darkest scary night.

A rainbow that magically appears
To brighten a mentally hard,
Exhausting, challenging day,

A radiant, glowing sunshine
To keep you warm - come what may.

An umbrella
To keep you dry
Whenever bad weather may arise,

An abundance of pure love
Reflected from the most trusted eyes.

A tender loving embrace
That speaks volumes
Saying "I'm here,
I completely understand,"

Knowing that you will always have
A strong hand to hold
Whenever you feel all alone,
Or if you ever feel like your sinking
In quicksand.

There is nothing quite like the feeling
Of having security, in love,

A blessing,
A precious gift
Sent from Our Merciful God,
Up above.

Charles Bukowski ate my girlfriend
He started with her head
Fiddled with her like finger food
Putty in his hands

Charles Bukowski took my girlfriend
Slapped her hard upside the face
Now she likes it *****
So this poets been replaced

I'd like to say so long Charlie
As far as I'm concerned
You can hit the literary highway
Never to return

Charles Bukowski took my girlfriend
And showed her a good time
As I'm watching from the shallow end
Of my kiddie pool of simple rhyme

Charles Bukowski ate my girlfriend
Chewed her up then spit her out
Now that good for nothing Charlie
Is all she talks about

I’ve been there and I’ve seen that.
Whatever seems new, to me it’s old hat.
I’ve heard some things that you wouldn’t believe--
I took the Devil’s confession, and I’ve seen the martyr bleed.
I’ve been up on the mountain, seen the clouds below;
I’ve gone down to the river where the strong currents flow.
I’ve listened to a demon whisper sweet nothings in my ear.
I’ve heard the angels call me to take one step nearer.
I rode the horse that threw the other rider;
I steered the raft through the rocks in the wild white water.
I walked into the ocean under the cold moonlight
and swam on my back in the star studded night.
I’ve washed the stain of guilt off of the criminal’s sleeve,
and dried the tears of the people who were stricken with grief.
I’ve asked the one question that unlocks the hidden door,
and heard secrets that the prisoner never spoke before.
I sat silently, listening, when there was nothing more to say.
I’ve walked miles through the night, until the break of day.
I’ve been in the forest, I’ve lived in the town;
give me one good reason I shouldn’t burn this place down.
I’ve done some taking and I’ve done some giving
and I’ve got some errands down the road before I’m done with living.
Everyone should write an autobiography poem
I love the real me - the me I was born to be,
when I am surrounded by the forest trees
in the Australian bush lands,

I love the anxiety-free version of me,
when I am unrestricted and unrestrained
emotionally and mentally,
when I can breathe, as my chest freely expands.

I love the sense of freedom,
as my mind floats and dances through the bushes, like a precious, delicate butterfly,

I love the feeling of the earth grabbing
at my ankles, sinking my feet-- planting them deep inwards,
as I gaze through the evergreen canopy
into a perfect blue sky.

I was born
to be in nature's tender embrace,
if only you could see the satisfied look
on my innocent face,
when I am in the heart
of such a peaceful, magical place,

You would see an amazing, wondrous love,
as I let go and become a free little dove,
because the forests fits my soul
just like a second skin glove.

If anybody should be living in the woods,
It should be me!

City life has never cut it for me,
It's not where my soul chose to be,
Or wants to be.

I love being the real me,

The Rosalie,
that I was born to be!
