Alone for a reason,
Alone cause I can be,
All though I don't allow it,
The beautiful ones hurt you everytime,
The beautiful ones hurt you every time,
The summer came in the season,
Looking for some empathy,
But now I can't contain it,
I'm alone for a reason.

In the lull of deserted beaches
I admire those towering waves
I dive into cherished reveries
unravelling unrequited shells

One day she stopped feeding me
I was 4
She was pregnant
Something so simple as eggs
But I NEVER fed myself first
I served her
Because I loved her

One day she threw plates at me
I came to see why she was crying
I was 6
She was bleeding
I wrapped her hands
Because I loved her

One day she punched my mouth
I asked why dad hadn't come home
I was 10
She was pale
I brought her a blanket
Because I loved her

One day I cried in anger
Because I knew she never cared
I was 17
She was dead
I became numb
Because I didn't know why
I still love her

It's easy to hurt someone that looks like you
Especially when you hate yourself
I still love you mom

may you hear words
that stir your senses;
may you know touch
on supple skin,
that fills your eyes,
not with pained
or bitter tears,
that make mascara run,
but with the yearning,
gentle rain that wakes
your soul to sing again;
and most of all,
may you know sight,
to see the blush
of sunset as
it slowly fades,
from molten rouge
to indigo of starry night,
and know the warmth
of lover’s arms
that hold your heart
’til morning light.

The lonely route which I took one day
Took me through the woods, far away
It lead me through I know not where
But heard a swish from somewhere

I heard their lovely voice call me
Then saw them dancing, fluttering in glee
Tuning a melody, they flew together
Around a concealed path beleaguere

I pursued them and their call
Tripping on a stone I fall
And then my sight saw what was hidden
Away from malignant sights forbidden

A deep, dark tunnel leading down
There it was a butterflies' town
I hear them call, I hark them sing
I see their tiny flirting wing...

It's all lies
Don't you dare tell me different
I'm here asking you what's the matter
Yet you complaining no one will listen

When I ask you how you is
"I'm Ok"  isn't sufficient
I can see you deteriorating
Cut the **** be explicit

Tell me what words hurt you
And whose mouths caused the pain
I know you know they didn't mean it
But the burn will still remain

Was it your man that ain't your man
Or was it that girl who doesn't have to try
Don't keep telling me they mean nothing
I see the tears behind your eyes

It's okay to have feelings
I'm in them all the time
I feel heavy if I don't express em
Baby, why you think I rhyme

Tell me what it is girl
Tell me what it ain't
Tell me how you feel girl
'cause I know you ain't "ok"

A man cheats on a woman, she beats him up. Everyone thinks it's funny what she did because he "deserved it" he did a terrible act but didn't deserve physical punishment.  A girl constantly takes her boyfriend's cell phone reading his messages, she's possessive of him, bosses him around, controls his life. " She's just a jealous girlfriend, it's cute" if a man shows similar traits, he's abusive and she should leave him. A man is sexually assaulted, "he's a ***** and should of enjoyed it" a woman is *****, it's all over the media. Women want free birth control, they protest in a Women's March. Men ask for free birth control, Feminist will not allow it. He isn't interested in you because you are over weight, it's a horrible insult. An obese man ask you for coffee, you say no because he's not your type. No one says anything. Marching and protesting for equality when it is nothing but superiority, having it all but you just crave more.

Would you walk with me?
Just For a while
That "line" Mr. Cash
Brought into style
Will you keep the ends up
For the ties that bind?
For me,
Will you walk the "the line"?
For you,
I keep my eyes wide open
All the time
But for me,
Would you walk,"The Line"?
Is it easy
For your heart to be true?
Because I walk,"The Line"
Just For you
If you've not listened to Johny Cash sing "Walk The Line". You've never been in love. Period.

often we not realize that

the best poems are the ones that were never written

never spoken

never expressed.

the best poems are the ones we keep to ourselves

raw

and untouched.
sounds fair enough.
