Stranger Blue
I have held a cold hand.
I have kissed cold lips.
I have traced a cold face with my finger tips.
But never have I been so torn apart...
Than to stare into warm eyes with such a cold, cold heart.

The brightest part of a shadow is in the center
Science tells us
that the light dances and refracts
and hugs the curves
What our truths tell us should be darkness
proves us wrong

I know your heart
How you close yourself
to people
to experiences
But your resistance is still broken
by your light
What your truths tell us should be darkness
proves us wrong
The brightest part of a shadow is in the center

Just Me R
My tears fell heavy like drops of pain
That shattered like glass on the floor
All carrying memories not the same
Each drop from my broken soul

Misty sunrise beautiful
Pale gold and icy blue
Steeped in iridescence
Each color alive within the other
Today I saw love
And it felt like you

Isn't it funny how our whole world was designed for normal people. The ones who don't have mental or physical disabilities. But once it comes time to help those people, we are clueless. People can't think outside the box. We could never imagine what we would do without a part of us. We take so much for granted that even the simple things like fingers and hands, we wouldn't know what to do without them. And the people who are deaf, or blind, our whole world was built to specifically identify the un-alike and categorize them by differences. That is the worst thing societies done. We need to group all and everyone together, then we will truly conquer differences and see a change.
Take a new approach

Flash with your eyes to remember me
Baby forever we
Take this moment and let it freeze
Days and nights, now we'll never leave
Lets lose our souls and set free
Lets lose our clothes and roam deep
Into the wooded green
Into the forrest sea
Baby forever we
Baby you and me

You* are not small
You are not unworthy.
You are not insignificant.

The universe wove you from a constellation
just so atom, every fibre in you comes
from a different star.

Together, you are bound by stardust altogether
spectacularly created from the energy of the universe
itself.
And that, my darling,
is the poetry of physics,
the poetry of you.

gray rain
3 minutes of pauses between each of the words
but I remembered the ending of the verbs

2 minutes of questions,  maybe more
the pauses could effect my score

1 night left I'm in a better place
the practice showed me it's not a race

hands are shaking
heart is racing
the recording starts
there are no restarts
My speaking assessment is tomorrow morning but my teacher did a mock with me so I feel more confident

they say dont self medicate
but i cant keep living this way
cant take all the anger and hate
drifting around getting lost in the gray.
would a cigarette be a real devastation?
Then theres all forms of self mutilation
i could always drown my uneasiness
with bottle after bottle of 60proof queasiness
theres all sorts of remedies
in prescription form
theyll make you feel happy and ecstatic and warm
or theyll make everything fuzzy and drag you down low
give your head an awful sort of chemical blow
theres so many options
theyll make me feel great
take away the bad feelings
coerce my mood to elevate
