mr moon man
my heart beats at the idea of having a woman in my arms
yet, the women around me have their hearts beat over other things besides love
lust, greed, popularity, revenge
their hearts pound for anything but love
how I wish to find a woman who loves as I do
and that's when I realize what my heart is
A heart of a long forgotten past
and it'll never find a partner to dance the same beat
I've come to realize that i'm stuck in an old style of romance for someone my age. most of the women around me don't get in relationships for love anymore, they have some secondary agenda

i dyed my hair pink
it was supposed to be purple because i couldn’t dye it green
the developer...or whatever it’s called
is still under my sink
makes me think

and at three a.m. i’ll die again or at least try to dye
they both are very different things that still feel quite alright
so i fall to sleep with blue hair and hope that i just might

xoxo catch you later on the next flight

on january 1st midnight sharp
i thought i heard the voice of new year's harp
fireworks banging
champagne bottles clanking
a new story, a new life, a new chapter to begin
a new year, a new me is ready to come in
or so we all thought...

it came out of nowhere
it started in the east
all cities were flooded with peace
the west still living in utopia
not afraid of the soon to come phobia
fast forward to march - the last big gathering
all forced to stay home and work online
the green spiky ball slathering
the numbers are climbing, what do we do?
wear a mask, keep 1.5 meters distance, don't meet people
otherwise you'll get the new flu
wait, stop, don't drink bleach!
don't trust that blonde, orange-skinned peach!
listen to your doctor and nurses at the front
like a war without guns or tanks

I need to straighten
my dreams out,
they got crooked along the way.
In my frozen castle,
in this grueling winter of life,
lies in me an invincible summer
that longs to be free;
scabbed up knees and
grass stains on my soul,
it just itches to run, and
swim the rivers,
and lie long in the sun.

you
somehow you are in my lucid dreams
& i'm left wanting more sleep
a constant fear of rejection and hurt
even in my dreams
i wish you'd understand
cause you're never really who you are until you're all alone

Proffer
the moon, and stars
As love-tokens; I give
you dirt from near this undisturbed
rose bush.
Grinning wide by the riverside
two bubbly girls click shots
between them whisper confide
share the secret thoughts!

The giggly cutes they walk like dance
caught in a sunlit pause
not mind the boys stealing glance
seems not worth a cause!

Their cells follow where they go
the lens beamed right on face
one more please and then one more
frames add up happiness!

I was watching the sun go down
pretty much in a fix
light was getting dullish brown
would turn darkish by six!

The urge was great surged the will
it grabbed the whole of mind
to have a photo me standing still
with the river flowing behind!

The butterfly girls in the sun's last kiss
they readily said o yes
each of them took a shot apiece
my joy you can easily guess!

The old blanket is so hard to discard

dramas have unfolded in its folds
upheavals of winter's orogeny
trills of two birds in ecstatic thrill
to the rest in the ripened knowledge

we have made a home
we have earned it.

In the still of night
under the old blanket
the tales are relived
without a touch
a word..

The old blanket is so hard to discard.
